HOPSCOTCH READING ROOM

It was the best bookstore I’ve ever visited. The cozy ambiance immediately drew me in, and I fall in love with the atmosphere. While browsing, I faced some difficulty in finding the right book. However, I selected one book by myself. Fortunately, the attentive staff was there to assist me in choosing a second book. When I mentioned my interest in mountains or creativity, they recommended an absolutely incredible book that exceeded my expectations. I’m already looking forward to returning to this bookstore in the near future!

Best bookstore in Berlin because it is much more than a bookstore! Be careful though: although the shop is small, you might get lost in all the books and buy much more than you intended. HIGHLY addictive ;)

The owners go to considerable lengths to find worthwhile books that are hard to find or that are out of print, sometimes for as long as half a century. Don't be afraid to ask for something you can't find on a shelf; Hopscotch's trove of books extends beyond what you can find in the store.

A true treasure, sightly hidden in a Hinterhof of Kurfürstenstraße. Bring a bag because you'll probably leave with more books than you expected.

Really wonderful place, Sid (the owner) has a deep and fluid knowledge of the unique texts he makes available here. Great place to come for readings, and to drop by if you're in need of a good conversation and/or bookr recommendation.
