Great place with year-round outdoor pool, inside pool, thermal pools, sauna, etc. Nicely equipped and well maintained.

Can be pretty packed with kids, if you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet experience I can only suggest going later in the day.

The sauna was amazing. I had a really relaxing evening there.

Excellent place for swimming, sauna and salad. Very relaxing. The only three hours that I have not had electronics with me for a long long time.

Great Sunday afternoon chilling at those terms. You have 2 parts: thermal baths, with a big pool at 34° and a small one at 38°, and a sauna part with a lot of different rooms. Take the ticket for both, it's really worth it (~10e for the baths, ~20e for both). You can experience saunas ranging from 45° to 100°, with aromas (eucalyptus, essential oils, etc), and a different theme for each (theatre, coffee house, etc.) You also have cold baths to freeze you up after, some outside terrace to take some fresh hair, and even ice buckets.
We stayed 4h, but you could even stay a whole day without being bored.
Will definitely come back.

Definitely best swimming pool in Hamburg. Not crowded with the young people. Just perfect

Absolutely amazing experience. Came here for the first time in 2015 then came again this year 2022 with my best friend. Friendly and helpful staff, the members of the public were pleasant. The thermal baths are not to be missed nor the eucalyptus sauna! Also, bistro food was excellent. We will certainly return in the future.

July 2023 update*

I went two weeks ago on a Wednesday with my mom and stepfather. My step father has limited mobility so we had to bring him downstairs to his changing room while ours was upstairs and the front desk was very suspicious and awkward and took no notice that he obviously needed assistance from us. Then as we went to eat later in the day, a rude old gentleman working the front desk was impolite demanding the wrists bands back and causing a huge scene in front of the other guests stating if we want to eat we can pay with cash. 1. He shouldn’t have assumed we had cash on us and 2. I know we were allowed to pay with the wrist bands as I have been before. This did feel like a targeted incident as I informed him I
Will be paying with my wrist band and he let us go. Then once in the bistro the cook ignored us as I rang until a friendly mixed-race gentleman came to assist us. Quality of service has definitely declined since my last positive review unfortunately.

Nice place to swim eat and enjoy some sun in summer. Usually crowded with people on the fast swings lanes but i hope there could be more fast swim lanes apart from just being one . But i like the place.

Outstanding experience! Gorgeous Thermalbad in Old World architecture. Do yourself a favor and purchase the Sauna add on which gives you access to the first floor with numerous lounging possibilities and an incredible Sauna experience. Only, it gets real busy which is a real turn-off during weekends and holidays.

Good service! Visited with friends, everybody liked the place, saunas and aufguss!) then we went to Suliko - Georgian restaurant, another good place in Hamburg)

The authentic 1914 building which strongly reminiscent of Lukas Thermal Bath in Budapest. No mineral water, obviously, but still very pleasant experience. Another highlight is the sauna made in Retro-Cinema style. An absolute must visit!

Always a nice experience especially in the evenings with relaxing music and lights down. There is also an outside pool for swimming, a wave pool more for children and a paddling pool for the smallest.
The only bad part is the price especially with corona because you pay the full price for a limited number of hours.

Crowd is good! Kids can be taken.

First of all the location is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Concerning the swimming pools and the sauna I just have to give 5 stars. Everything was beyond my expectations. Nice way to relax after a dreadful day at work.

We loved the sauna space!

This place is just beautiful. You'll find some old-fashioned changing rooms upstairs (as well as modern ones at the bottom). I came here on a Sunday when there were lots of families, but the heated outdoor pool was just perfect for some serious swimming. Clean.

Great saunas with hourly Aufguss and three lovely pools, one with a wave machine and one outdoors!

Great Swimming pool, part of the baderland chain. Heated outdoor pool which can be used all year round. The main swimming pool has a wave machine function that occurs twice every hour. On the other side there is also the therme, which has warm water perfect for relaxing. The saunas are well looked after and the perfect place to relax. Well worth a visit, can highly recommend. Children's play area not as good as others in the baderland chain however the wave pool is a massive highlight. My sons favourite reason to go to this swimming pool.
