Highly recommend eating here, they have both light sweet/salty breakfast and more consistent food, plus great selection of cakes, including many vegan ones. I recommend the lentil soup. I also got the vegan breakfast but I didn't like they mix fruits with veggies. Plus the view over the window is great. Unfortunately didn't find any book to like

If you love books, don't miss cafe Tasso. Its full of used books, which all cost a fixed price, 2,50 euro, last time I was there. Mostly German, they have lots of English books as well.
Don't miss the stairs in the back, which will lead you to even more books than you see up front. Booklovers paradise.

Lovely and cosy cafe near U-Bahn Frankfurter Tor. Beautiful and appealing interior. Currently you can have coffee inside with covid test, but outside, on the terrace you can stay without any tests. Tasty and beautifully decorated breakfast. Especially tasty fresh baked, and still warm croissants. Also friendly service. Beautiful place! Thank you :) Btw, there is also books store and shelfs with cheap, second hand books to buy.

For books lover this place is a must visit in Berlin. Each book for only 2,50 no mater how big, old or new and they have 1000 of books … wow what a discovery. And if you are hungry you can eat and drink something too

Their pumpkin soup is the tastiest I've tried so far. It's a calm cafe. Their library has used books to buy at 2.5€ and there are also several books for give away.

Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast (the eggs were perfectly done!). Definitely check out their bookstore, they have a wide variety of books in different languages as well!

It's a beautiful cafe with books and good food. This is the first time that I am spending 4-6 hours straight in a cafe talking, eating and enjoying the sun as well. It was so good. I tried the dish with mushrooms and white sauce and my friend tried the dish baba ganoush, it was so good. They charge you 2 euros for the books, it's quite near to Frankfurter Tor.

Beautiful and timeless. They have different sorts of books you can buy for 2€ in all categories and multiple languages. The coffee and cookies were great as well.

I stopped by for a quick drink, while waiting for someone who was browsing through Humana nearby. Loved the vibes, will come back my next trip to Berlin to try more stuff from their menu.

I love this place. The prices are great. Incredible coffee and food. Vegan and vegetarian options. They sell used books for a very good price on the basement. In English, French and German. They have jazz concerts on the weekends. And the decoration has not changed since the 60's
Also the service is really good. If you're in the neighbourhood can't miss it.

Very likeable Café/Restaurant with 1000s of books which are all 1.50.. All food and drinks are organic and affordable. Nice outside terrace and friendly service from partly handicapped people. Great breakfast! 🤗 Evenings are lovely with concerts.
