Friendly staff, delicious food, good beers.

No reservation we tried a couple of the beers and had the ox sirloin and the ox in beer sauce delicious! Service was good and attentive.

Wery good food for normal price. Also parking is + You could order food by 14:00 and from 17:30 on, beetwen the 14:00-17:30 just self servis from buffet.

What a little jewelry in Berchtesgarden. Had a tough time finding a place for dinner,other than the hotels with their sometimes strange menu. Enjoyed friendly service ,a cold one and a great Bavarian meal.

Foods were delicious, especially our first try for the local food, Bavaria white sausage, the special-made sauce was what made it so delicious! Fried fish was also nice and recommended.
Our waitress was kind and spoke really good English. As a whole, it’s a great dinner experience!

One of the best German food ive had so far. Portion was right. Not too big. Seasoned perfectly as food was not too salty as normally German food would be. Fried chicken was half of chicken and crispy outside and moist inside. Nice restaurant and quite big too. Service was nice though they were busy

Best pork shank when in Berchtesgaden. Friday's special is the Surhaxe with a liter beer. The Surhaxe is a slight variation in that it is boiled prior to grilling. Barely could eat half and had the rest cold for dinner with mustard the next day. Go!

For dinner we had ordered the very tender Ox meat in dark beer sauce. It was delicious. The sauce was made with right mount of fats and spices. Would love to visit once again. The beer was excellent as its brewed right next to the restaurant. It cannot get more fresh than that. 0 KM beer! My wife ordered Scholle with potato salad, it was also good. The place is a bit on the outskirts but visited my tourist and locals equally.

It was a nice and clean place to eat. The food was good (price, quality and quantity) and employees very friendly, although they where very busy.

Dropped in for a beer and stayed for dinner.
The 1/2 chicken and chips was sensational cooked on a rotisserie and the beer 🍺 great.
The entertainment was very enjoyable adding to the atmosphere. Shared a table and meet some nice people as well..

This is what you want to experience when being in Bavaria. Food is good, especially after a day of hiking. The atmosphere feels genuine. Really cozy venue that invites to stay for a while.

We visited this place for lunch (after spending half-day at Eagle's Nest). Great food and great beer what else to say! :)

Amazing, classic Bavarian food all served in a beautiful, historic setting. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that considers dining there.
