If you entending to see the place from inside unfortunately it's not open for public. However, the trip to up and the view from the top is breathtaking. I'll give you some tips, if you drive a car park in the last parking near the bus station. The driving to up take around 20 minutes, and be careful. You can stop and take some photos. The bus ticket is up and down and you can take it up and go down on foot. You can change the time for return from the machine.

Plenty of parking prior to taking the bus to the eagles nest. The cafe serves a small menu of cakes, sandwiches and coffees. Historically extremely interesting. Fantastic views, though a bit pricey to visit. Recommend going early morning as it gets very busy mid-morning early afternoon.

Great place. You must see it. The panorama view is breathtaking. Before you travel there, read/watch some information about the historical background of Eagles Nest and Obersalzberg place. It is astonishing in which perfect condition the building is after all the decates.

One of the best breath taking scenic, where you can disconnect yourself from everything down and be on the top, the noise of the silence there is something unmatchable. Nature lovers will feel something magical there.

The view is just WOW!
Make sure you come here when there are no clouds.. its even more magical 😍
Reccomand buying a ticket online, because the waitline can be long and if you go there in the afternoon, there might be no more place for you unfortunaly😒..
Good food in the restaurant too.
The feeling when you get here is amazing. Nice bustrip and some historical information.
You can also walk up and down the mountain, or just take the bus up and walk down

Beautiful views. You can actually do quite a bit of hiking. You can go out about 4 hours to get to the top of the highest peak.

A historical building with amazing views. Well organized buses take the visitors up to the bottom of the house, then you walk through a tunnel to take an elevator up to the house. Visit the old fire place - the only furniture from the Hitler era. There’s lovely short uphill walk to the cross and other view points. The nature is lovely. It deserves a visit even in rainy weather.

Behind the dark history of the Eagles Nest, the views from the top are spectacular! A must do. I recommend scheduling a tour so you don’t have to wait in line for tickets or busses.

We decided not to do a tour & just bought tickets. It is extremely well organised which was a pleasant surprise as it can get extremely busy. Go early if you need a parking spot. I felt uncomfortable watching the incredible views that once he enjoyed while he plotted so much terror on millions of people. We walked back down to the bus (about 20 min) worth it if you are able.
Some amazing flowers to be seen

Amazing. However, wish we had gotten the private tour. So much history. Still worth it.

When we went there the elevator wasnt working and we had to hike to the top, guide told us it was 150 meters yet turned out to be 1100 meters of steep road with low oxygen tension.
You take busses from the foor of the mountain to a parking lot where the elevTors and start of hike trail are.
On top there is a restaurant, a gift shop and lots of open space. There are some photos in the terrCe, nothing fancy.
Completely worth the visit, breathtaking views.

Buses were extremely on schedule. I recommend buying a ticket in advance to avoid queues.

Luckily they let you change the return time for the ticket once you are in the Eagle’s Nest.

I also recommend timing your ascent/descent with the local buses to minimise the wait.
