room is clean and spacious, cleaning service is great. We had a balcony with great view of the mountain.
However they don't have kettle in room. and no tea or coffee bag in room.
Restaurant food is great with reasonable price.

Perfect hotel to stay in. Right opposite the bus/train hub. Breakfast was good too.

The hotel is right opposite to the Berchtesgaden hbf which is quite convenient to take other bus or train. The staff was really helpful. It was also possible to do early check-in since the room was ready.
They have amazing breakfast buffet with lots of options

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms. Centrally located close to train station and restaurants. The in house restaurant was great too with patio view of snow capped mountains. Good service all around. Can take a 20-30 min walk or so up hill to the high street/ main town or short taxi from the train station.

Went there at the start of July, we were past the 23:00 check-in limit, so one of the employees kept waiting on us till 23:15 when we arrived. Really good service, and really good food, the live music every Thursday is fun too! Special thanks also to the lady in the pink dress for her good service during dinner! The rooms were a bit on the warm side. But the beds were comfy and it was super quiet.

Except from the great spacious rooms, this review is mainly for the restaurant. Amazing service, impressively quick but most importantly delicious. Great overall 1000% recommend.

Excellent hotel in the center of the area. Easy access to public transportation buses, train depot, taxi etc. Walking to Lidl, Aldi and the restaurants, bowling was actually nearby. The hotel has a really nice restaurant with great food, drinks. Breakfast was great. *They have a robot that helps with the serving of tables. It was entertaining to watch. I had never seen one. *When visiting Germany I will look forward to seeing this hotel again. The front desk staff were helpful with sharing knowledge of the area. Provided a transportation ticket for places of interest.

Amazing place when you want to go to Königsee and Jennerbahn. Breakfast is great, and the service and staff are amazing.
Rooms are nice with a view but no water boiler, tea or coffee in the room.

Really good value hotel in Berchtesgaden, large room, really clean with a huge terrace on the river. Great location, 2 minutes walk from the train station and lots of free parking too. Large selection of food for breakfast and really friendly welcoming service.

Lovely breakfast in the morning with lots of options and in the evening you can get delicious meals downstairs in the restaurant.
Hotel is just a very short walk away from the bus and train station.
This is my new to-go-to hotel in Berechtesgarden.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean rooms. The staff is really helpful, speaks English. The food and service in the restaurant is good too. The location is exceptional as it's 2 minutes walk from bahnhof, which makes moving around very simple.

Loved this hotel! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had one of the newer rooms which was very spacious with nice views. Breakfast was the best one on our trip across Bavaria and Tyrol. Parking was also easy. Highly recommend!

First of all, I must say that I find the 1 star bad reviews to be incredibly hard to understand.

The quality of the service and the overall high-standard hotel facility here is indeed world-class.

He is overly kind and thoughtful and all the staff were as well.

Honestly, if you are deceived by the fake 1-star reviews and somehow manage to pass this 3-star hotel (which I must say is indeed 4.5-star quality at a 3-star price) then you are not very wise.

The Schwabenwirt Hotel has a comfortable and clean room for you to choose from. You can see a beautiful village view from the room and a rich breakfast for you.

Location is really good..just 2 minutes walk from Berchtesgaden HBF train station..all the bus stops are just 2 minutes away from hotel..

Very close to the station, the staffs were nice and the hotel was really nice and huge! The view from the balcony was amazing as well. Will definitely go back someday!

Stayed 24-30 September 2018: Very nice, affordable hotel only 2 minute walk from the train station on level ground. Friendly, helpful staff, both in the hotel and restaurant. Large, comfortable rooms. Excellent, large breakfast. We speak some German, but all the staff speak English. Credit cards accepted except for the tax of 2,60€ per person per night and the 5,00€ deposit per Gästekarte (guest card) which have to be paid in Bar (cash). The 5,00€ is refunded at the end of your stay when you turn the card back in.
We are very happy with this hotel.

Good recommendation. Rooms spacious and newly renovated. We were booked in a room with great mountain and river view. Had lunch in the Biergarten, which served good food for very reasonable prices! Will be back here next time when I visit the area.

Hotel Schwabenwirt was just a 1 minute walk from the main train and bus station as well as right across the street from the information center. It was about a 10 minute walk to the center of Berchtesgaden and right on the beautiful river. The rooms were large and well kept. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. The food in the restaurant was perfect and traditional German food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to this area!
