Seepark Freiburg

An amazing place for outdoor activities and a quite place for meditation. One can also get detached from the daily hectic schedule to recover and get re-energise with the beautiful nature.

A big and beautiful park. It has a small lake where you can swim and while swimming, you can see turtles. There is also a high platform to see the view of the city and the lake from a higher height. On the other side of this park is a small part of the Japanese park. which has a special beauty. There is a parking lot and you can park your car there for free for 10 hours.

Seepark is one of the many pleasant places in Freiburg. The Flückigersee is beautiful all around the year and gives a very special feeling when taking a walk around. The students chill in the spring and summer what gives the place a youth vibe. There is also a children playground with water installations.

Nice place to chill and take a dip in the summer, close to a kiosk incase u wanna drink or eat efficiently ✨ and amazing view, sadly closed bridge by the time I was there

I loved seepark so much. During my stay in Freiburg I used to go there nearly everyday. It’s such a nice spot to have a walk or just chill or read by the beautiful lake. For the more adventurous ones you can also jump from the bridge rail and it’s really fun. There are also some performers of equilibrium art and it’s really cool to watch. If you swim there on a rainy day you won’t regret it,is awesome! Easily reachable from the center with a s-bahn it’s the green oasis of Freiburg ! You can’t miss out also the tower,from there there is a splendid lookout

One of the most beautiful places in Freiburg. For nature lovers, this is a perfect place. At the seepark you can enjoy the view of the beautiful lake, have a nice walk around the big park, picnic on the grass, ride a pedal boat in the water, feed the ducks, workout, read, or a bunch of other things. The most important thing is that you enjoy the beauty of the nature while doing what you love or being with whom you love.
The view is very romantic at sunsets.
There is a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating where you can have an icecream or something to eat.
Totally recommended to visit if you’re coming to Freiburg.

Beautiful place for any hoyr of the day. One can jog around the lake, walk, train at the fitness bars, dance, have something at the cafés, swim, ride bicycles and much more. Indeed, a Lovely and Lively place.

Seepark is one the most beautiful places in Freiburg where one can find students chilling by the lake. During summers the vibe here is completely different. There's a tower here, from where one can have a nice view especially during sunsets. The lake is pretty huge and is surrounded by students dormitories and playgrounds

Seepark is a good place to relax and also have a picnic with friends.
The stusie dorms are there that’s why you see a lot of young people there.
So much green around and the park is also clean and suitable for kids.

Nice park,nice people. Good place for relax after long day work or sightseeings. You can swim there, have some drinks and see shiny happy people. Nice women too ;-)

Park with full time masti and cool in summers ....it is good space for couple for swimming in lake and spend extra quality time . On weekends there were many couples and family visit for swimming ,nice view location and breeze temp.

FreiburgimBreisgau's major lake, Flückigersee with the park optimal for morning runs, afternoon walks. Swimming and water sports too. There are yellow slider turtles, malard ducks, Egyptian goose and mute swans in the area. There are some unique spots in the park to get the superb sunrise and sunset view. Must visit place in Freiburg. The seeparkturm also provides an aerial view of the park and lake.

Awesome place to spend a whole day just beside a lake. However, there is a miniature golf course.

We had a beautiful day on this lake. Got a good tan in the morning, used the chance for spontaneous swimming, which was great. Everyone is doing its own thing, pretty cool, nice people around. Highly recommend in Freiburg.

There are restaurants, mini-golf, and a rental boat. A nice place to spend a peaceful afternoon not far from town centre.

Chill and beautiful location

Yes, I'm nostalgic because I lived next to the Seepark for a few years, but it's still one of my favourite places to visit when in Freiburg. A must for everyone that wants to relax and unwind, best with a few cold beers, some grillfleisch and a portable barbecue you can buy at any supermarket for 5€.
I would however advise against swimming in late summer, after some time it gets a bit icky due to it's small size.

it's nice here. every spot is unique, you can go swimming basically everywhere there even is a bridge you can jump off of. Humans and flora are in synch around here, good spots for families and especially children but also professional swimmers are in it for a good time. You can borrow a boat and chill on the water. Ott geht hier auch
