Hermann Café

If you are looking for a delicious breakfast or a brunch place with an amazing view of the black forest, you should visit this cafe. They have a good selection of vegetarian/vegan options. We ordered Shakshuka, avocado toast and pancakes. They replaced eggs in Shakshuka with hummus, which was delicious. The pancakes were fresh and fluffy with loads of fruits. Will surely visit this place next time we visit Freiberg.

Awesome place, it wasn't too easy to find because of construction sites. But once there it has a nice atmosphere and different seatings for all kinds of groups. The service is fast and friendly and the food we got was just amazing. The view while eating was nice and i would always go back to this when I'm in the area.

The view over Freiburg was definitely awesome! In general the food was good.

The sandwiches looked great.

Small improvements that I would suggest:
- make the Croissant less dry
- make the Pancakes flatter and not like 2 centimeters in thickness

Delicious waffles and breakfast options (also vegan). The cocktails and hot drinks are really good as well and the staff is always very nice! Looking forward to more vegan dishes and desserts ;)

Went there with my girlfriend, because she’s vegan and they had a good choice for non vegans and vegans. Our food was great and the vegan waffle afterwards was great as well. Service was amazing, very nice staff.
We’ll come here again when visiting Freiburg!

Good view, captures the essence of Freiburg. Decent drink menu. Fairly good food. Usually crowded all day, everyday essentially due to the central location.

Good food and tasty drinks. Nice view from the balcony, great atmosphere! But a bit pricey

Amazing vegan waffles and cake, other vegan options too. Comfortable and chill atmosphere inside and outside. They have a big balcony upstairs with nice lounges with pillows. The cocktails look amazing (haven't tried yet) and the staff is always super friendly and helpful.

One of tmy favorite spots in Freiburg.
Great for breakfast and also great for couple of drinks with friends at night.
Has a great vibe looking over the blue bridge.
The service there is always great !
They also have a separate room that can be booked for private events.
Relatively high probably you find a table.

The café is located right next to the Hauptbahnhof. Seating options beyond indoor seating also include a balcony overlooking the tracks and the terrace seating when the weather permits. The staff is very nice and the food was good. The spätzle were well seasoned and tasty fries with dips. Lots of beverage options to choose from, including coffee, tea, iced coffee apart from alcoholic beverages. This place is located above the bike-parking garage.

Great cafe. Make sure to reserve a table for breakfast. Try the pancake, muesli and waffle. Absolutely delicious. The ingredients are very good. A breakfast for 2 is about 20 euros.

Came for a quick bite before getting our train. Great coffee and both the avocado toast and Nutella waffle was fantastic. The cucumber tomato salad they put on the avocado toast was memorable

Such a lovely place near the train station where you can enjoy yourself and have something to eat and/or drink. Very friendly and helping staff. Nice atmosphere and really nice view. Dog friendly of course and cozy. Definitely recommend it.

The pancakes was so fluffy, the location was a little bit hard to find but the food worth it in every single way.

The staff is always very friendly and warm, you are greeted warmly, served quickly, the food is always delicious, well prepared, and everything is great!
