Found an excellent copy of the picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. Good selection of English novels as my German is quite rusty.

There's no English bookstore in Freiburg (yet), but they probably have the best English corner for adult selections. (Thalia has the best for kids and young adults.) The second floor has a fantastic selection for kids - books but also games, puzzles, toys, etc. Upstairs is a nice little cafe. It's a nice shop to just browse on a rainy day.

Huge choice of books, but also DVDs. You can find rare films which will be hard to get at other stores. Pair this with the friendly and competent staff and you have a winner. Will be back soon!

Nice book store, they have lots of intresting books, but i went there to get a regular notebook and all was full of calendars and agendas, yet friendly staff and environment.
