World Time Clock

The World Clock on Alexanderplatz has been a popular meeting place for Berliners and tourists since its installation during GDR times.

The World Clock was designed by the industrial designer Erich John in the course of the Socialist redesign of Berlin's Alexanderplatz. After nine months of construction, it was presented to the public on September 30, 1969.

A cool little feature that is a staple of Berlin. Really transports me back to the 20th century with its modern metal design.

This is definitely one of the most interesting monuments and tourist attractions. This is one of a kind clock in the world. It is really interesting that always under this clock there are people playing music and also you can see a lot of people from all around the world watching at the watch to see the time they are countries.

A really cool little site tucked away at the foot of the TV tower. The design feels very futuristic and is a good spot to show friends and family what the time difference is.

The area is quite lively. The Clock is spectacular. You can also visit the Turm near here. Germans are always interested in time. Like this clock, like the netflix series Dark :)

Interesting for taking pictures, but it is often used as meeting point so you must be quick to snap a picture.

Another piece of Architur beautiful creation ,world clock. You will find the major city of the world time here. Just close to Berlin ALEXANDER platz train station .

What to say, awesome clock ✨

Together with the fernsehturm one of my favorite sights on alexanderplatz. The places on the clock show the connection between east Germany and the countries of the communist block.

Very impressive clock, showing the time in 148 major cities over the world. It is located in the Alexanderplatz and very easily reachable with public transport.
Over 120 engineers were required for the design and construction of this clock which took place in the 60s.
It's a must see if you're in Berlin.

Very beautiful place, if you're visiting Berlin, it's mandatory to go there. One of the main points of the city!
