Traditional (orthodox) but open and tolerant to the typical Xberg expat queer/alt/etc crowd, with regular holiday and shabbat community dinners as well as informal lessons on Shabbat afternoons.

It is like coming home and here is where my heart sings thanks to all here.

Die FrankelUfer Synagoge ist lange Jahre ein Teil meines SchulWeges gewesen. Ich war gestern im Rahmen eines Projektes dort. Es hat mir wirklich gefallen. Vor allem kristallisierte sich heraus, dass die Religionen viele gleiche Punkte haben, nur mit anderem Namen versehen.
Es ist nur sehr schade, dass die SicherheitsVorkehrungen so dramatisch sind, aber das versteht man, wenn man sich die Geschichte in Deutschland ansieht.
Und auch jüngst den Anschlag in Halle.
Möge sich so etwas nie wieder wiederholen.
