When you walk into this place, it feels like you're walking into a bit of a time capsule. Very minimal seating is available. This is first and foremost a place to buy absinthe. But, they also offer tasters. When you order one, you can watch the owner pour them for you. Taste a few with a friend or partner to narrow down what you like. It's quite the experience. Once you've decided on a bottle or two to take home, it definitely shows the owner that you're interested and you can ask all manner of questions in terms of how you should enjoy absinthe at home. He is an absolute wealth of knowledge and was increasingly friendly as we showed an interest in the enjoyment of absinthe. One of the best experiences we had in Berlin.

My partner and I visited for our first experience with Absinthe. This place feels like a historical relic. Lined with beautiful bottles and vintage absinthe-centric artwork. The tasters are served classically with the simple addition of cold water and ice. No flashy sugar cubes or flames needed.

As long as you show a genuine interest in learning more about Absinthe the owner is willing to share tons of interesting facts and tips about how to best enjoy this drink. After two generous tasters, we left with a couple large bottles, an absinthe spoon, and a small spout for pouring water.

Several available to drink on site. Fantastically, one of those were exactly what we went in to purchase solely based on its global reviews!? We left with 3 large bottles to stuff in the suitcase, and 3 shop-owner suggestions in miniature bottles. We had 3 on site. We’re clearly into the magic!

If you want to taste absinth in an ambient inspired in the 40s decade, come to this place. Fantasy bottles will surround you, fantastic liquors and cocktails elaborated since 25 years.
If you love to drink high-quality alcohol, this place will definitely be for you.

If you are looking for a special place for absinthe and beer, that is a place to drop by. Small, but very impressive. More of a shop than a bar. You can order your drink and stand or sit at one of the few tables. If you are not an expert and do not know what you want to drink, you will receive great recommendations by very friendly staff.
And if you politely as to take a picture,you will be allowed.

Rather unique experience in Berlin. You will find the right absinthe for your taste as staff is extremely helpful for you to navigate. +1 star for the music selection during Saturday evenings.

I was too stupid to use the web form correctly and ordered for pick up instead by mail delivery. They pretty much instantly emailed me to ask if pick up was correct, my friday order arrived on monday in Bonn. Great customer support on their end!

They also sell bar-serving merch such as absinthe fountains, and assorted curiosities.

Great selection and good people. Though I recommend going when it's not too busy. Early afternoon when they open would give you the most time to talk to the shop keeper if you'd like to talk or ask for a few recommendations. Oh and don't bother with the Bairnsfather swill the keep on the counter. I wouldn't serve that to anyone. Even with great bottles on the shelf, they still stock a lot of green crap for the tourists.
