Lovely cinema with a fantastic ambience, has a good selection of films and some nice snack options!

It's very nice to see most of your favorite movies there

If you prefer smaller cinemas to the horrid "multiplex" ones, this could be your thing. clean, nice, seating quite comfy and to add to the experience, go see a film around 17:00. no crowds!

Really nice cinema!
The movie experience (movie quality, picture, sound, ...) is very good, I've experienced better to be honest but it's still very good.
Popcorn is amazing.. they have plenty of drinks, seats are comfortable and their staff is friendly.
The location of the cinema itself is close to the middle of the city as well.

Great cinema and watched an absolute 80s classic (Le Grand Bleu) which I really appreciate but please educate your audience about not putting their disgusting feet on seats and chatting through the film. So distracting and annoying and is absolutely the cinema’s responsibility to ensure everyone can enjoy this and not treat this unique public experience as watching Netflix in their marital bed. Not trying to be a Karen but please reinforce basic etiquette rules! (it’s not my job to do)

My favorite movie theatre!! Perfect for going for a movie with the kids. If you go before 6pm with a kid into a kids movie you only pay 5,-€ per person. Popcorn is great as well sweet and salty. Small 3,50€ medium 4,50€ large 5,50€
And as well a great movie theatre with your loved one.
I always admire the hand painted canvas from the movies.

Amazing old eastern German movie theater that is part of the York group. They offer a wide selection of original sound movies with German subtitles. Great selection of condiments and sodas. The seats are comfortable!

I guess my experience is mostly determined by the great movie we watched. but the setting was memorable, too. Reasonable price, friendly staff, no crowd, clean bathroom, salty popcorn and a gorgeous theatre look! worth going.

On some summer days this place has a magical feel to it. I'm not sure if it is the Volkspark nearby or the beautiful Bötzow Kiez neighborhood next door. Before going to the show you can have some delicious food at a restaurant in the area and after watching the movie you will also find a great bar.

Amazing film theater in a classic style. Lots of blockbusters but also independent movies. Original versions and subtitles as well. Good prices and very friendly staff. Clear recommendation.

This cinema is super cosy as other reviewers have mentioned! The staff are really friendly and cool! The sound quality in the rooms are 10/10 and it’s become my go to cinema for a chilled night out. Pricing seems to be way cheaper than other Berlin cinemas. There’s a few options for English movies with German subtitle, but sometimes a few are only available in Deutsche ( rip fantastic beasts 2 )
All in all this corner street cinema seems almost like a unnoticed, unintended hipster cinema. The setting and location is great. Sorry for saying hipster cinema.

Cosy small (not too much) multi room movie theater near Volkspark Friedrichshain. Nice atmosphere and comfortable chairs. It is part of the York Group. You can buy tickets online or at entrance.

Excellent venue, great staff. However classic film screenings may be cancelled without more than just a day’s notice (ie Black Christmas, 1974) and some films may come and go in less than a week (ie It 2).
