Great location for walking to most sites and access to public transport. Direct train to the airport in less than 30 minutes. The room was small but very comfortable. Good base to explore Berlin.

Very good room quality and service. It's very well located if you want to discover the best landmarks of Berlin!
Take a dive in the cocktails options at the bar.

You will probably get surprised with the quality, variety of alcohols, and possible combinations!

Great price/quality. I always stay at Motel one when I come to Berlin for work. The only issue that I had is the lack of the mini fridge.
A mini bar or at least a communal fridge would make my experience better, since I like to buy fresh fruit and vegetables to add to my diet.

Breakfast is self-Service.
a good option to have, but for me it’s too many cold options for such a price, so k would suggest to eat in one of the places nearby.

Oh, and the best thing about them: you can bring your dog! I Love pet-friendly places 💖

I stayed at the Motel One in Berlin in October 2023 while attending an international wedding photography convention called “Way Up North." It was my first time visiting the German capital.

The Hotel's entrance is incredibly inviting and comfortable. The staff, for the most part, is amicable, although there were a few exceptions. They all spoke English very well, with a few minor exceptions. They were consistently helpful and welcoming, except for a few isolated instances.

The rooms are on the smaller side, primarily designed for a good night's sleep. However, this size was ok for me as I was occupied throughout the day. The Hotel’s hall is very comfortable, especially in the evening when the soft, atmospheric lighting creates a cosy ambience. There are plenty of sofas for relaxation, and lovely music always plays. There are numerous cocktail options in the evening, and the breakfast in the morning is excellent.

The Motel One is ideally situated if you want to explore Berlin. I highly recommend renting their bikes to explore the city. I spent seven hours sightseeing in Berlin by bike, which was easily achievable. In fact, even though I live in London and cycle there, Berlin is even more bike-friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone, even those new to cycling.

In terms of pricing, I couldn't say if the Hotel was expensive as this was the first time I had been to Berlin, so I couldn't make a comparison. However, despite being in the city's centre, it was undoubtedly immaculate and tranquil. You could not hear your neighbours.
Over the week I stayed in Berlin, this Hotel began to feel like a home away from home.

I will certainly return, and I strongly recommend this Motel One. Most of the staff here are friendly, with just a few exceptions. Still, they are generally accommodating and supportive.

A nice motel . Clean and tidy with good facilities. Easy access to Berlin but Berlin is huge so if you visit best have a plan of what you want to see . A taxi is 10 euro maybe more to the museums well worth a visit

Great hotel with friendly staff; rooms are on the smaller size but great for solo travellers. Beds are comfortable and black out curtains work well. Bathroom is spacious and shower is hot and has good water pressure.

There are so many good reasons to stay here. This was our 30th visit. The garden is charming. The location is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleverly designed. Two pillows ( hard and soft) allow for brilliant sleep. Hygiene and the environment are important to the hotel and we chose ( for example) not to have the room cleaned every day. Very reasonable room rate for both private and business visits. Can't wait to return!

Reasonable priced, rooms a bit small but very convenient with dimmable lights, a safe and a very very nice shower. Beds comfy, multiple pillows. Friendly staff, parking garage underneath the hotel which we could also use for our rental bikes.

If you want to use the garage for your car, a reservation is recommended.

Excellent hotel. Rooms though small are modern and clean. Equipped with a large TV, modern bathroom and comfy bed. A kettle would of been a nice addition though.

What made the trip for me though was the staff. All very helpful and friendly especially Stefan behind the bar.

This will be my go to hotel should I return for another visit to this wonderful city.

Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff in a great central location in Berlin. Close to some epic restaurants and public transport. The lobby and rooms were very goo too. Highly recommend this hotel for a lux stay on a budget.

I stayed at Both Motel Ones in Alexander Platz. This one at the Hackesher Market was my favourite. Great ambient lighting on the 7th floor and great views.

The room I had was small, but very comfortable. I had expected sausages and scrambled eggs for breakfast, as usual in hotels, but it's not available there. That's not to say breakfast is not good, as there still is good variety both of savory and sweet foods. Service is very friendly, and the location couldn't be better, very central and well connected.

Great place to stay when you're sight-seeing in Berlin. Only the neccessities, nothing more, but it's stylish, clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good. Just like every other Motel One I've been to so far.

Comfortable, quiet (both upper floors overlooking the garden and lower floors overlooking the street and railway), nice breakfast, close to everything, inexpensive, polite staff.

Good hotel location, near the tower and also public train and the neighborhood has great eateries as well. Room is spacious and comfortable. Water is provided, just need to pickup at lobby. The breakfast is good and modern. Overall great stay. Service team is also very friendly.

Solid basic hotel that is a short walk from shopping, Berliner Fernsehturm, and Museum Island. It's also across the street from a large train station. The room we stayed in was nice and clean and the included breakfast was very good- good assortment of yummy things. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely consider a future stay here.

Very helpful staff, especially the receptionist at the front desk. Also good place to have a drink. Clean facilities and rooms.
