I can not comprehend the bad reviews! The experience answered my expectations very well. The chambers are home-like, the heating is not taking long to warm the room, the bathrooms are cleaned regularly and the staff is very caring and amiable - the gentleman kindly gave us two water bottles for the journey.

The reception and kitchen open three hours before noon which is a bit of a pickle if one wants to have breakfast earlier and retrieve the items left in the kitchen.

Other than that everything is close by and easy to access. We will in all probability come back if we shall sightsee in Berlin again.

I can only boldly recommend this establishment. Really awesome experience. Don’t expect luxury but expect maximum cosiness and good value for money. I arrived very late, but the reception informs perfectly about the self checkin procedure. So if you’re arriving later than 20:00, try not to contact them and worry about your checking. Simply check your mailbox or the booking app you used, they send you all the information there. That was a huge relief for me. The rooms are container rooms. Don’t let it discourage you. It is perfectly clean, very warm, they actually let the heating on before I arrived so I was welcomed by a warm room. That was so cool for them doing that. There are radiators, they heat something like between the sun and a volcano. I was dripping wet as I got caught up in the rain unprepared. I left my clothes and I guess it was barely 15 minutes before they were all dry. The lodges are placed not too far away from each other but they are placed so that all rooms have their privacy. Glass doors but have curtains if you want full blown privacy. No tv no kitchen appliances in rooms; such as a kettle (water boiler) etc. but there are enough plugs for your stuff, and they have an extension cable attached. So you don’t need to bring yours. No towels in rooms, they cost 2€ I think. But bed sheets are so clean and soft. I liked them. Beds are ok. Not like sleeping on a cloud but still good. There are hair dryers too in bathroom area. It’s like a gym locker room, but spacious, toilets being on the tight side, and the showers on the left. So they’re desperate. All with doors, privately. There’s an extra exchanging cabin separately. too, if you don’t want to enter both areas for any reason. There are a few options for food very close by. Even late late at night there are few open quick bites around, you need to walk only like 8-10 minutes. The restrooms and bathrooms are shared but despite that, they’re super clean, and everything seems in order. Their canteen opens at 9:00 in the morning, and I think until 20:00 or sth like that. Other than these hours, I couldn’t see any snacks Automat! That’s probably the ONLY thing that I can count as negative. Because if you want just sth to snack on, there’s really nothing at nighttime or very early morning, outside than the canteen hours. A hot drinks and a snack Automat would really put the cherry on top of this establishment.

*Location-wise; despite the uncanny feeling of the surrounding area at the night time, it’s really safe area. So, I don’t see a reason to worry or feel anxious if you’re arriving here late or want to go for eating at night.

Really loved the free atmosphere. Located in a city but partly still in nature when staying in a cube under the trees. Dedicated place for parking motorcycles or you can park them next to your cube. Also a place for bonfire. Reception, toilets, bar and showers are in the main building. Wifi spreads to cubes. Don't forget your slippers. Shower floors get dirty pretty quickly. Good access to main sightseeing places in centre of Berlin by subway. They accept card payments for accommodation. Helpful and kind staff.

€50 a night for 3 of us, it's a hostel, clean and cheap, can't go wrong, clean showers, good coffee, no noise at night and staff were friendly and helpful, bar inside. Great place if your planning to spend most of your time outside of the accomodatiom in the city

The concept is really simple. You get a cottage of your own at a fairly good price. But, don't expect a very hygenic and tidy place.

Oh boy. What a cool place. If you are traveling on a budget and need a place in Neukölln and don't mind using a shared bathroom then this is something worth to check out. Very friendly staff and a hip, laid-back atmosphere. However I don't recommend to spend your 6€ on the breakfast, because the variety they offer is not worth that money.

I got what I payed for and everything went well. The showers and toilets were better than I expected. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants an affordable place to stay in:)

Stayed 2 nights, definitely coming back. Very cosy atmosphere, especially at night. Friendly and helpful staff. Cottages are small and minimalist, but clean and functional. Nice location, big volkpark across the road, 5 mins from U-bahn. Very good value for money. A different way to experience Berlin!

Very nice atmosphere, feeling like a camping, festival situation. I will definitely come back for staying in Berlin.

Great place to stay! We spend 6 nights and have a gret time at the Lodges. We would come back definitely!

€10 per person per night for a bunkbed in a cute little hut, set in a tree-filled field right next to Tempelhof. Great value for Berlin. Really lovely.

Awesome location. It's clear that you get what you pay but in summer must be crazy sleep overthere.

Cozy rustic accommodation. Has a bar and entertainment and a huge fire pit. Showers are communal but clean

Super friendly people and price-quality good. Also the location is perfect! Lots of bars and restaurants closeby.
