What a pleasure to eat in this authentic German restaurant. The staff and clientele where so friendly.

Steeped in history if you can get in I'd say is a must. Next time I'm back I know where I'm getting my schnitzel

A really lovely, historic bar. It's very cosy and welcoming. The staff are excellent, making it a really great place to relax. It's a nice oasis away from busy Berlin bars.
A good selection of drinks are available. It feels very homely.

Metzer Eck is one of the oldest continually-operated bars in Berlin, having remained open through two world wars, the DDR regime, Berlin’s reunification and the recent gentrification of many former East-Berlin neighborhoods. This is a casual pub with good cold beer on tap and a small selection of freshly prepared German comfort-food staples. The prices are low and the staff are down to earth and friendly. It’s a great place for an early evening beer, a light supper or a relaxed night of drinking and people watching.

Small german pub that's been around for over 100 years. They serve a good schnitzel in here, service is fast also. Looks like a family owned pub and they are friendly.

Located in a less touristy neighbourhood than the central districts, this restaurant is very nice and quaint. We enjoyed it very much. The ladies were very friendly and helpful, the prices fair, the dishes very good and traditional (the strudel was exceptional). Very good beer. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely small establishment with loads of charm. We had great service, delicious food and fine drinks. Would recommend for a nice casual evening out.

Visited (August 2019) after reading other good reviews and we weren't disappointed. A little way out of the normal tourist areas but a good local Berlin bar. We ate outside and the service was fast and friendly. Not an extensive menu, but a good choice of food, which was very good. The beer was good too and the price was very reasonable

This place is a little hidden gem next to Fab Lab. If you're looking for an old school and authentic German Pub - you should check this out.

There are big wooden tables you can sit at and a couple of German beers on draft which you can get.

Can't comment on the quality of the food but it looked like they served traditional German food at a reasonable price.

The food is great. The price is good (most expensive dish is €10). If it is raining or cold, there are just a few tables, so you might wait. It's frquented by locals. I saw some men playing cards, like in a mafia movie. It was interesting.
