Coffee shop in the Nikolai Quarter

Loved this hidden treasure. We just had cake and beer. The cafe is like a traditional dining room in a house. Owner was exceptionally polite and helpful. Cake was great and well priced. Pleased we stumbled across it just as the heavens opened. It's situated in amongst traditional little shops, cafes and eateries and well worth a visit.

Most delicious omelets I have ever tasted. Very friendly staff who make beautiful drinks. I am planning to go again soon to catch the rest of the Spargel menu and experience the authentic Berliner taste!

This is going back in time. This is truly authentic. A Time Capsule. I particularly like the service culture here.

Amazing food and fantastic value for money considering the quality of the food. I was very happy with the service. The view of the church is splendid and they have seating outside the coffee shop. Inside is quirky like a allo allo TV set. It oozes old charm and charisma I loved my 3 course meal and would revisit if back in berlin. It's located in the old.part of Berlin and was a fantastic find

Wir haben ein Schnitzel mit Pfifferlingen bestellt. Die Größe des Tellers war ausgezeichnet.
Die Preise sind fair und das Personal ist freundlich.

Hier spürt man das man im Herzen Berlins ist. Das Nikolaiviertel ist die Wiege Berlins und das erlebt man in der Kaffeestube noch original. Ich tank Kaffee Wiener Art und aß eine Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, es war sehr lecker und die Torten sind selbst gemacht. Zu empfehlen ist auf jeden Fall der Apfelstrudel, dieser wird warm serviert und mit warmer Vanillesauce - saulecker.
Wer das originale Berlin sehen und erleben will ist hier richtig, urig aber dennoch moderne Technik, man fühlt sich wie in einem Wiener Kaffeehaus. Nächstes mal gerne wieder.

Etwas Geduld lohnt sich. Leckerer Kuchen in tollem Ambiente. Etwas versteckt und daher schön ruhig.

Leute, die Schenke ist echt gut! Ganz nette und aufmerksame Mannschaft, ein charmanter Kellner und ne sehr leckere Ente mit Rotkohl. Das Bier ist ebenfalls sehr frisch. Etwas hohe Preise, aber völlig angemessen für die BLN-Mitte. Wir bedanken uns nochmal für den schönen Abend und wünschen dem Team alles Gute. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ich kann die schlechten Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend. Der Koch(Chef?)hat ein Auge auf alles. Schön urig und ansprechend,wenn man mal auf deutsche Küche steht. Empfehlung von mir.

Waren zum Frühstück dort. Urgemütliche Gaststätte mit nettem Service und leckerem Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen.
