We did not go inside the church, but instead climbed up to take in the view. This was €6 each and definitely worth it. There are a lot of stairs and there is no lift available, so this would not suit you if you have mobility issues. However, the view from the top is beautiful.

This is a review of the viewing platform of the church, rather than the Huguenot Museum within the church. We visited on a cold February lunchtime and had the place to ourselves. The climb is quite easy as the stairs are wide and open so there is no feeling of being cramped.
The architecture inside is as beautiful as the outside appearance and the whole building exudes elegance without extravagance. As you climb there are information boards and then eventually you reach the door to walk around the outside of the tower. As you'd expect, the views were great and it was a lovely way to spend a lunch break.

It is a must-visit - the French Cathedral stands proudly on Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt square. Built in the early 18th century, it's a key French Protestant church in Germany. Inside, marvel at the altar, pulpit, and stained glass windows. Plus, there's a museum telling the story of the Huguenots who found sanctuary in Berlin. Whether you're into history, architecture, or simply seeking serenity, this cathedral offers a rich glimpse into Berlin's cultural tapestry.

It is a very beautiful cathedral. I was not able to visit the inside, as there was a renovation of the area around it, but from the outside it is majestic. A lot of details and an interesting architectural style

Beautiful building, but for me, the real treasure was Manfred, the greeter at the church (a separate entrance from the museum and tower). I have never met a more genuine, willing, and open greeter anywhere (Berlin, Deutschland, Europa). If you take time to talk with him, you will quickly get to know a very kind man with some amazing stories. Go for the building; stay to visit with Manfred!

amazing move to keep less plastic. Never seen anything like this with any trashbags. I hope this happens everywhere as well.

There are two activities in the French Cathedral (three if you count eating at the deftly named Hugo & Notte cafe). One can visit the museum to learn about Huguenotes and the church, and there is a separate ticket to go up about 280 stairs to the observation platform. The walk up to the platform is quite comfortable because it is a modern staircase with a plenty of space to rest. I'd say it is not for the people with a fear of heights, not just because, obviously, the observation platform, but also because the stairs open to the empty space inside a tall tower as you climb.
It is a beautiful tower. On the platform, there are plaques showing which landmark you can see in the respective direction.
The platform is fairly wide and has benches to rest on, and the cafe in fact offers picnic baskets to take upstairs. The views are phenomenal.
Note that the museum ticket is separate from the observation platform.

An interesting piece of architecture. Currently it is undergoing construction and is surrounded by a fence, however there is a pop up viewing platform next to it that allows a good view of it.

An eye-catching cathedrals you can see in Europe, specially its outside view. We went to Berlin in christmas holidays and unfortunately it was closed therefore we couldn't visit its inside. During the christmas holidays the set up an outdoor marketplace for foods, drinks, clothes and etc. which was really amazing.
I think it is worth to visit this cathedral and its neighborhood while you are in Berlin.

The French Church is one of three fine buildings on Gendarmenmarkt. While the dome is not technically part of the church, it's often treated as such and I had the pleasure of both seeing the dome from Gendarmenmarkt and visiting the church for an organ concert.

The dome is a very beautiful Neoclassical in the shape of a monopteros containing sculptures of classical figures and topped with a figure of I think the personification of peace holding an olive branch.

A fine dome.
