Spreegold Mitte

Spreegold Mitte, right across from our hotel, Motel One, was a fantastic find. We only managed to have a meal here on our last day in Berlin, and we regret we didn't come sooner! We'd often walked past it, always thinking about trying it out later.

What a shame we waited! Our meal was absolutely fantastic – everything was freshly cooked, and our waiter had the biggest smile on her face.
The portions were enormous; my friend Marta and I decided to share the main course and dessert because they were so generous.

The vegan curry and pancake were just out of this world. We never tasted anything quite like it.

If you're in Berlin Mitte, I can't recommend this place enough. Has a beautiful modern design, and the food is fresh and delicious. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a delightful experience in the city's centre.

We came here twice during our holiday. The food is good and enjoyable. Service was relatively quick and fast. The service staff was also responsive.

Coming from the Netherlands and knowing a lot of nice and good cafés, this one was really nice also. The interior is very modern, open and friendly. The large windows let a lot of natural light in. I had a latte macchiato which was nice. But the eggs benedict were my favourite. They were really yummy and I did not need to wait a lot, even when they were packed full with people. The staff was very friendly and helpful also, when I asked my questions, since it was my first time in this Café. All in all I recommend and I will definitely come again, when I am in Berlin.

Extremely pleased by the service. We ordered marshmallow hot chocolate without realising the hot chocolate could have geletin. Only realised on recieving it.
The staff was extremely cooperative and offered to replace the drink for us. Very pleased with the service. Definitely visiting again and again now. Thank you!

Nice coffee and was very happy to see that the cappucino is really large! “Eggs + Avocado Stack Bread“ was THE BEST! Definitely will go back. Staff was very nice and attentive as well! :) Thank you.

The blonde waitress is very friendly. When I accidentally ordered the wrong order, she quickly changed it and brought me the one I wanted. The food was served quickly and it was as good as I remembered it. I’ll definitely come back soon

Nice food, service and ambiance. The pasta with beef strips was tasty but quite heavy for lunch.

Loved this cafe! I came here for breakfast and had the fitness omelette. They have very generous portions and the food is full of flavour and colour! a large range of vegetarian and vegan options are available aswell which I loved. The service was prompt and super friendly. They speak great English too which always helps.

Not sure why not the higher reviews ! Great range in menu and one of the few places in Berlin that let you know what is actually in the food for dietary requirements. Shashuka was fantastic.

Experience here was amazing. I ended up visiting 3 times in 3 days. Food is really tasty, staff is really good and humble. Service is good. Really pleasant. Whatever you order you will love. Must visit place.

Tasty food and very friendly staff

Went for a breakfast with kids. The place is well done up. Has good heavy options for a hearty breakfast. Ordered pancakes with cherry sauce, Omelette and coffee.

Arrived to this place after randomly walking around Alexanderplatz.
And what a surprise ! Warm welcome, we entered there only to drink but the place was too good to leave so we ended up ordering food. Hard to make a choice, and I bet there are many good ones ! I tried the halloumi burger, and I can only say it was delicious. Fries were great too (and I'm from Belgium) !

An awesome place to go to have breakfast or lunch with friends and on top of my list for a weekend brunch. The ingredients are always fresh and the menu consists of a nice diversity of dishes that temptate you to want to try all of them. I had a nice dish with Benedict poached eggs and hollandese sauce. It was my first time ever trying poached eggs and I was a little bit nervous about the consistency of the eggs after being cooked, but ended up having a good and tasty surprise. The whole dish was well balanced together with the salmon and the nice crunch of the toasted bread that brought a mouth watering effect. The drinks are, like the dishes, always with nice ingredients created and one can have from coffee to awesome shakes and juices that are fresh made just to be served to you. Totally recommending it!!
