HOSHI COUPE Berlin

I love this place, the ambiance is just amazing, classic music, small place and near the train / s bahn station which bring me to Kyoto. Yes it’s really like you cut your hair in Kyoto not cold n stiff Berlin. I came without appointment because I actually I just want to pass by and make it one but Miyake the hair stylist said it’s ok to cut right away if I can wait for 30 minutes. Then I better wait because it’s hard to find appointments in Berlin for hair cutting. So Miyake cut my hair she speaks English , little German and very good Japanese;) she really takes time to hear what I want and she gave the opinion to make it even better. My experience was the best I ever have in Berlin Friseur since I move here 20 years ago go.

Very nice experience. The hairdresser listened carefully to my instructions and was very meticulous while being funny. (I have lot of very straight hair so I know it's a pain to hairstyle correctly)
From shampoo to finish it took 1h15 minutes, that passed in a flash

As expected my first visit with Mizuki was amazing and definitely coming back. She's incredibly detail oriented and is quick to understand the style you want. Please don't take up her appointments! Already too hard to find time with her :).

A very pleasant experience. My hair was cut with great care and precision. The lady was very polite and skillful. I appreciate the fact that I just walked in the salon on SUNDAY, not announced and was accepted without any issue, and without waiting even for a minute. The haircut was professionally done, the atmosphere was pleasant and calm, with a nice touch of classical music (Beethoven 5th Symphony) in the background.

The sir that cut my hair spoke English okay and understood perfectly my request. Not only I got what I asked for, the final result was even better than I imagined. Very professional. Thank you, I'll come back for sure! Also price very reasonable for washing+cut+drying. Classic music playing also very nice and relaxing :)

Living as a foreigner in Berlin who unfortunately doesn't speak good German, I have always been hesitant to set foot into hair salons as it is often time-consuming and painful for both me and the hair stylists to understand each other and communicate what kind of hairstyle/ hair color I would like to have.

After being recommended by a friend, I stepped into Hoshi Coupe and enjoyed a great consumer experience. The salon itself is clean, bright and spacious. The staff are Japanese, but they speak good english and the hairstylist especially communicates openly with you on what you would like to have, performs accurately and professional, and double-checks with you now and then whether this is what you like. I love my new hairstyle and hair color now and would highly recommend this salon, especially to people who are limited in German and have thicker, bountiful hair! :)

Mizuki is excellent! I like her aesthetic and she’s very skilled at both cuts and color. Book in advance because she’s quite popular!

Hands down the best hair salon I've been to in Berlin. The stylist knew exactly what needed to be done to my hair. The staff are all very friendly. Highly recommend it for people with thick, straight hair.

Very calm ambience, lovely staff , understand what haircut i wanted and was a wonderful experience along with nice conversation. Would definitely recommend it to a lot of people.

I have tried Ticro and wanted to come here as well after my search for good Japanese hair salons.
It was back last year during covid.
It was a bit hard to find but it was this lovely area behind Hackescher Markt. Once there, I had to leave my details, keep the mask and everything went very well.
I had a haircut and dyed my black think hair to dark brown, seems easy job but it’s not, when it comes to dying without bleaching for my hair it is impossible in a „caucasian“ place

Good place. The girl gave me hair cut and styling was professional, nice and helpful. And she speaks English well, told me later how to take care of the hair by myself. I am happy, will come again.

perfect. i only do my hair in janpanese hair salon. this one is the best and the second choice for me is in Munich, i also wrote a review about that one. Houshi coupe is not expensive but bring that quality of very prefessional hair styling, cutting and so on. i paid like only 30 euro for a evening-ballroom hair styling which took the hairstylist around 1 Hour to finish. really recommend this place for asien girls who live in Germany.
