EDEKA Schlemmer Markt STRUVE Großer Burstah

Lovely staff. Big, clean, bright Edeka. Perfect for lunch breaks. They have a salad bar which is delicious and you can use and return Vytal boxes here. They also have a small sushi place inside and offer warm meals (usually German foods) to go. They have a small meat selection, but large sweets, snacks and dairy product selection. Reasonably priced considering it's location.

Cozy experience!
The offerded products are obviously aimed for day-to-day office shoppers who wanna stop for a quick lunch (hence the in-store salad bar, and mini food court wish prepared meals or good ol' döner), but is perfectly suitable as a normal grocery shop as well. Staff is (mostly) friendly and always helpful.

Good selection of fruits, veggies, dairy products, snacks and sweets, drinks, and even pre-made salads and lunches, which is a nice option if you're a tourist in town and don't want to go to a restaurant. The store is also open till 20:00, which comes in handy, when you're out all day exploring.

This is a much nicer version of a small downtown grocery, and one I will definitely be going back to. Salad bars, great bakery, yummy wine and cheese, THIS is what I was hoping to find in a European market. We ended up buying too much for my backpack and headed home overloaded with goodies, but everything was too good.

Keep in mind this is more a hybrid Edeka. They full fill the needs of people coming for lunch as well as providing people like us who life close by with the standards of a supermarket. However, the range of products is limited but well picked. The service is good. What makes this Edeka special are the small things, from potato chips you will find nowhere else to a superb selection of sauces, even a bunch of awesome vegan ones. So when you come here don't compare it with a big REWE, this EDEKA is awesome for its size!

It’s a edeka basic edition. You find everything for a quick snack, including a fresh food and salad bar. You can’t do your weekly shopping there.
