Went for both Dialog im Dunkeln Dialog also im Stillen. Both are super amazing experiences, also fair-price. Without a doubt, a must-do in Hamburg, very eye- (and ear-) opening.

Dialog im Dunkeln: a well-designed tour to raise awareness and understanding on ''seeing'' the world in different perspective. Be prepared for the ''challenges'' and chilling time at the end :)

Dialog im Stillen: also a nice, peaceful tour. Learned to speak with our hand and face, and listen with our eyes. And of course, with our big heart. The last-minute ticket is also very recommended, also for non-German speaker.

My only problem was that 60-Minutes felt so fast (that means, it is far from boring :)). Plus all the people involved were mega nice! Thanks a lot.

Amazing experience ! Very unique and everyone should try this. We experience the life of a blind person, and our guide was a blind person, i believe her name was eva, she was amazing. You use your senses and see the daily struggles our world put in the way of blind people. Very eye opening.

It was a really unique and fun experience. A must do if you are in Hamburg! First you will go through different rooms which all have a different theme. Afterwards you will have a drink together in the dark bar and here you can talk a bit and ask questions to your host which was really nice. Big thanks to our host Jasmine!

An extraordinary and interesting place. It helps to plunge into the world of other sensations and understand other people. Special thanks to the guides - they tell us about the world in a professional and loving way and lead us into the world of other perceptions

We came as a group of seven people for the Dialog im Dunkeln tour (English), and I must say that, for the lack of a better word, this was one of the most eye opening experiences I have had. The visit, in complete darkness where navigation is reduced to only hearing and using a mobility cane, gave me a whole new insight into how blind people experience the world.

The tour took us through different scenarios of everyday experiences, all guided by a blind guide; the tour finishes in a "blind bar" where you can grab a drink (all in the dark) and have a chat with the guide. Our group was with Jeremy, whom I wholeheartedly recommend - we had thorough conversations and Jeremy was very open to talk about his life experiences and answer any of our questions.

I really wish places of dialogue such as this were more common in the world, which serve to bridge the gap between seeing people and those with visual impairments. I will be flying back to Hamburg eventually with more people for the sole purpose of taking them here.

Very interesting place my wife and I did the dialogue in silence, it was really fun and interactive, the different rooms gave us different ways to interact without a voice or being able to hear. The tour guide was deaf also and it was interesting that we got to ask questions at the end about what this was like.

We had an amazing guide called Andre, he was extremely empathetic and comical. He could guide us through the space with a gentle calm. From the moment we walked into the door we were introduced to educational games that already begin to help us question how we use our senses. I would highly recommend!

Amazing educating experience about how it feels like to be blind for example. I went to this experience after my MSC cruise as it was close to the port of Hamburg. You get a blind guide, meaning they hire blind people for this which is great. You put everything in free lockers there before joining the guided tour in the complete dark with a white cane for the blind people. Also you have to purchase coins, 1 coin is 1 euro. With the coins you can order a drink or snack during the tour in the complete dark! The guide will serve you.

You basically start the tour with a bunch of other people. Everyone gets a cane and then proceed to enter the dark rooms together. You have to listen to the voice of the guide in order to know where to walk in the dark lol, also use your cane to navigate of course. You walk together with everyone in Complete dark rooms that resemble a restaurant/ bar, the woods, traffic etc. The guide gives you time to touch the furniture and stuff around you in the dark and to guess what those are. Then you all have to move on to the next room by listening to his or her voice and following that voice. You will sometimes have to talk out loud in order for the guide to know whether you have reached him so you can go into the next room. So no one gets left behind in a dark room.

Everything happens safely, of course sometimes you’ll bump into another person if you do not use your cane well lol. It’s a fun and humbling and educating experience.

I participated in the 60-minute guided tour in English. I would highly recommend it to people of all ages, tourist or local. The hour goes by quickly, the employees are kind and understanding, and the tour is very eye-opening.

This was a terrific experience. It gave me a small sense of how the blind navigate this world of ours. Unbelievable how much I depend on my eyes to inform me of a situation. Our guide, Jeremy, was caring, funny and informative. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you Dialoghaus Hamburg. Antonio

Everyone has to come here and have this experience in order to “touch” a world of blind people and understand their life and wveryday struggles. It makes u more sencitive and invcreases the awareness of “dark” side of living. Very much recommended!!!

This was a truly fantastic experience, to immerse yourself in the shoes of those who are visually impaired. Our guide, I believe his name was Mark, was very kind and patient. The lady at the reception desk was also very nice and explained everything well to us in English on arrival. Thank you!

It was a real eye opener for the whole family (2 adults with 4 kids, ages 19-12). We took the deaf-tour and we got to experience a little bit what life is like for a deaf person living in a society that can hear. With noise cancelling headphones on, we were asked through body- and sign language to communicate and play several games. It was really wonderful while at the same time confrontational.

At the end we were given the opportunity to ask the guide some questions with the help of an interpreter, which gave us some further insight at a more personal level what it is like to be deaf and the struggles deaf people face on a daily basis.

Tobias (our guide) was truly wonderful, very warm, welcoming and very encouraging to all of us to step out of our comfort zone and try to communicate with him through any means possible. And he was very good at understanding our improvised hand signals and mimics. We enjoyed the experience a lot and were glad we got to do this as a family. Much thanks to Tobias, as well as the interpreter who spoke English as well as German!

Really a must-do while in Hamburg!

It is an amazing experience everybody should make. I was really impressed with the idea of the museum and being showed what it is like to function as a blind person for this short period of time. Really instructive and thought provoking. Please keep in mind you should book a tour in advance. One of the best museums I’ve ever visited!

Fantastic experience, it really is something new and unusual that I've not heard of anywhere else. Being led through the pitch black darkness by a blind guide was an eye opening experience (pun intended). Our guide, Tobi, made sure everyone felt safe and it was a pleasure chatting with him at the end of the tour. Great bonus: You never get to see your guide since you meet them in the darkness which is also teaching you how a blind/visually impaired person meets and perceives people. Strong recommendation from me.
