Cafe Chaos - Darmstadt

Arguably the best brunch, breakfast and dinner place in Darmstadt. Incredibly cosy atmosphere with very kind hosts. Eventhough the menu is hard to investigate(because of wide variety of options), once you find the dish you want it pays off. Apfelströdel with vanilla icecream is a must! Amazing place…

Very nice atmosphere with vintage styled decorations and friendly staff who speak English. Only cash accepted. Try their toilet when you get a chance, it’s fun to watch the toilet seat turning 360 degrees and cleaning itself.

A down to earth, trendy bar which makes for a joyful lunchtime meal or a cosy evening with a beer.

The food menu is extensive and gives you a hard time deciding between dishes. I chose the Käsespätzle which I think would be hard to beat anywhere else. It was warm and comforting with crispy pockets of cheese, the highlight being the refreshing salads on the side which refresh what would be a very rich dish.

The portion was massive! I could hardly ride my bike afterwards but it was definitely worth it. They also have many beers on tap, a variety of spirits and great sounding cocktails for €9 each which I must return to try.

The prices were very fair and the waitress who served me was lovely. Undoubtedly a hot spot to visit if you're in the area.

It is a traditional very old place with amazing ambiance and you can come across the culture

I have been there with one of my friend on my very 1st day and tried spicy wine which was delicious

Best thing of the restaurant is that you get to have breakfast menu all day long! So eggs, croissants , bread butter.. . They take cash only. Good waiters ! Nice food! It was good a evening spent!

It was a great and beautiful place in Darmstadt, but some foods are salty and it is not healthy.

Food and service are very good, pricing is very reasonable. I hadn't been for a while until recently but will for sure be back more often.

This is a classic student cafe with a fun alternative atmosphere. They have a great selection of food including breakfast, pizzas, flatbreads, and Käsespätzle. Prices are very reasonable and the service is always friendly and attentive. They also have good cocktails and more wines to choose from than many comparable places. I highly recommend going and enjoying the patio on a warm day or squeezing into a cozy corner inside on a cold winter night.

I am a bit biased, coz I love breakfast food and this place serves it anytime. So that's one gigantic advantage. And they have many other things to offer, including huge cups of coffee. The place is usually busy, but the stuff is quick, efficient and always friendly. The design of the place is very special and cosy. However, if you are searching for a quick and cheap bite, you might consider this place a little overpriced.

The place is amazing, and the table service is just amazing! I asked for a suggestion of dish and the waitress helped me a lot. The food was just delicious, and the price is very good too.

One of my favourite places to go out and eat. The service is excellent. The food is housemade and very good. The atmosphere is unchallenged and unique. If you never been there give it a try! Prices are more then ok.
