Bavarian Beer Garden Darmstadt

We came here for dinner in June 2023.
Thanks to the fine weather, we sat outside where the beer garden offers much space. There was even a little playground for children.

I ordered roast beef with onions (Zwiebelrostbraten) which came with fried potatoes and a fresh salad. The roast beef was juicy and tender. The fried potatoes well-seasoned and crunchy. The freshly tapped beer served in a stone jug was a perfect fit for the meat.

For dessert I had Bavarian Creme (Bayrish Creme) with beeries - fresh and sweet.

The Bayerischer Biergarten Darmstadt offers hearty and sweet regional dishes and freshly tapped beers in an excellent location. The team of the restaurant is very professional and friendly.

We look forward to coming back!

This a very beautiful bier garden. It has two separate areas, at one of them you can make reservation. The menue is different for these two areas.
The reservation areas has seasonal food and a huge wine menue. The quality is really high, and of course it doesn't come cheap.
There is also a play ground area for kids.
The staff is really friendly. Even during rush hours their service is quick.
It has a very cozy and family friendly atmosphere. I love it!

A Bavarian beer garden in hessen. Kind of strange but this place is really really nice. I ended up having dinner with a friend here and I got the schweinenbraten and he got the wienerschnitzel. The food was really really good and for the price excellent follow that with a couple of beers and it was just a magnificent meal. The setting was awesome!

Spacious beer garden in a scenic setting, nice to take a bicycle to get there, e.g. via the Bürgerpark. Friendly staff, solid menu.
One of my favorite places to enjoy here in the summertime. Bring your friends!

great atmosphere! the haxen was a bit salty.

My family and I live in America, but my father is from Darmstadt, so we've been vacationing to Germany and back many times in the past 30 years.

This was the very first time we went to the Beer Garden, and it was excellent! We brought our neighbors and we all had such a great time with great food, service, and an overall good atmosphere.

I can't believe it took us this long to find this place, but we will definitely be back the next time we travel to Germany.

Very very good. Fantastic savory wild game goulash. Nice sweet flavored dunkle. Huge pork knuckle. We had a big work party of 35 people the service could not have been better

One of our favorite places in Darmstadt. Nice beer and food and a wonderful place to hang out. Specially good for large group gatherings, as there's plenty of space and we have never had a problem finding a table. Fully recommend!

Relaxing place for a beer and good food.

Recommended • great selection of food! The service was very kind and swift. There is a self serving area and a restaurant with service, make your reservation. They have a parking behind the restaurant. Credit card accepted.

great authentic beer garden

The beer garden is a very nice place. Looks like a original Bavarian beer garden. But what is a "Frikadelle mit Brötchen"? It should be a "Fleischpflanzl Semmel" like in Bavaria! 😉 (changing edit 5* for changing it into Fleischpflanzl)

Nice setting and good food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice ambience, Great service, delicious food. Favourite for locals, a kids playground and several bird species available.
