One of our favorite parks in the world. We visited from the US and were blown away! Overly beautiful. Take a ride on the train that chugs around the park-well worth it.

This huge park dating from 1676 can be reached in about 20-25 minutes using public transportation. There is a lake and a small castle as well. Really great place to walk, ride the bicycle, in-line skate or jog.

Very big garden for public use and well maintained. Max length app. 2.5km. The Palace and the trees are best for a quite and relaxing walking and especially the inline skaters ,cyclist gives motivation. I think around 9pm in summers lights will be switched on.

Out of the full day in Dresden this was our top pick. It's probably because we're big fans of nature, and this has a mix of both. Also for the football fans, you get to walk by Dynamos stadium 🏟

I really liked the place. This park is intrestingly awesome. Cars are not allowed to go inside, bicycle can. The park is too large to have a long tour. Inside you can take a tour with a small train.
There are two pretty lakes with a very nice views. It is open 24/7, but the palace inside and the train closes at 6 and 10, respectively.
It's very recommended to visit the place.

This place is pure bliss, a relaxation for both body and soul ina middle of a busy city.

There good parking spots nearby, a botanic garden, a small railway, a zoo and beutiful architecture, all in a walking distance.

You can find a flower garden and easy walk and bike lanes.

We spant around two hours with the whole family and a kid and it was perfect in any way

The best part of Dresden.
Perfect for relax, sport or picturing. Recomand to see.
You need whole day for visiting.
You have a restorant on lake.
Excelent for children. They can run around you, don't need hand.

Such a beautiful and amazing place, can't describe with words the joy of just having a nice walk there, any time and any season would be a unique sight. Its like an European and alternate version of the central park of Manhattan. I loved everything about this park. At night you can see a lot of hedgehogs around and plus its just next to the dresden zoo. A must to visit place in dresden, very recommended for couples.

If you are visiting Dresden and want to get out of the city for a bit and enjoy some fresh air amongst the green green Grand Garden. It is a very big park area with everything from woodland, ponds and gorgeous planted flowerbeds. It is only a stone's throw away from the city centre and, in our opinion, well worth the trek. As well as enjoying all the natural highlights that this area has to offer, you can also put your feet up in one of the beautiful beer gardens which are settled in amongst the trees. I highly recommend a leisurely stroll through these gardens.

A good place to visit for the travellers in the Dresden. A wide space with long walking trails. There are garden, palace, lake in the park. You can either walk or you can have a round around the park with mini train in the park

The place is everything you need for a short stroll or a bit of biking. It's sort of very near to the city centre but away from all the hustle and bustle. There are small ponds/lakes between the garden. Always gives me a sense of calmness whenever I visit the place. There are some good food joints around the place.

Very big, peaceful garden, with a baroque palace in the center of the garden. There is a small lake, where boating can be done
