Zoo Dresden

Cute little Zoo with a good selection of animals.
Our daughter loved the orangutans. They put on quite a show, as expected! We had a pretty close-up encounter with a sloth, which was amazing!
There is a petting zoo with Cameroon sheep for children, and it was packed with kids who enjoyed petting and feeding them. There are lots of playgrounds for the little ones as well.
The adult ticket cost 16 EUR, and it took us about four hours to go around.
It is located within the Grand Garden, so one could take a stroll or catch a train ride at the Dresden Railway Park after the zoo visit.
Overall pleasant experience.

Fav place to see the animals. Not too big. Plan half a day. Perfectly located next to the grand garden in the center of Dresden. 15 Euros per adult. Absolutely worth it. I love the underground zoo and the elephant and giraffe houses. This zoos gets prettier and prettier every single day. 😍

Very nice Zoo. If you are in Dresden with your kids, you should definitely visit the zoo. It will take 3-4 hours to explore the zoo. You can also have some snacks and coffee or have lunch, inside the zoo restaurant.

Zoo Dresden is a worth visiting place. Especially when you have kids. They can enjoy thoroughly here and you can spend 3 to 4 hours here. Infact I recommend to plan in such a way so that you can spare at least 3 hours here. Otherwise not all the zoo can be viewed.

A very fascinating place. Has a lot of different animals. The zoo has a comfortable environment for animals as it provides conditions the animals used to live in.

Quite small, but very nice Zoo. Koalas were cool and sloth is free to roam above people's heads! It can be done in few hours, there are flyers in different languages and the environment for animals and people is beautiful. Just beware the zillions of children.
