Hotel Amano Eastside

Lovely hotel, perfect location. Rooms are super clean and everything is new. Wifi works wonders. The Pakistani night guy is funny! We had a great time and I’d return.

The pros,

The room was impeccable and spacious enough for two.
I recommend booking "comfort" for more space. I was provided with a room overlooking the spree. The night was quiet and did not hear anything from the party on the rooftop.
The shower's hot water did not work but it was summer so it was not too bad.
The bathroom is very clean and spacious, quite dark but elegant. They need to put more attention to tidying up the kalk water marks on the shower glass door.
My disappointment was to know while checking in that the roof top bar (the reason why I booked in this hotel) was not open to the hotel guests due to a private party...so you should check before before booking if this is also why you choose this hotel...
The staff at the reception was very friendly and communicative.

The breakfast buffet costs 18€ p.p. and has a quality of 12€...
The restaurant and breakfast area is very well decorated and the areas are very clean and modern.

Overall, I recommend the stay at this hotel, it is very well located and the price is super fair for what you book.

Room is too small for big size luggage but quite nice. You can only open in half side. Reception is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good for recommending.

The best hotel in town. The room was very clean. It was clean in details of the room too. Modern design and very good view from the room. The position was near or the center and you can be in the center of the town in 10 minutes. The staff was very polite and helpful. I really will suggest it to my friends and I will visit it again. As always a pleasant stay. Rooms are nice, cozy and clean, the staff is always kind and professional, and to top it off, the hotel is across the road from the S-bahn. Every time I’m in Berlin, Eastside is my go to place to stay.

I chose this hotel because it was close to a wedding party I was attending, but didn’t even noticed how well located it was from bus station, train station and S Bahn lines!

The Ostkreuz Station is right across from the hotel walking for 5 minutes! I was so happy for the location and all the nice places to visit in the neighborhood.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable, blinds will not let any light come inside the bedroom, and the bathroom was ok, a bit small for my taste. I would think a big size men would have troubles getting a bath.

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows too!! I pay extra attention on this, because I have back and neck problems!

Otherwise the hotel has a restaurant, which seemed very nice, which I never visited, and also has an amazing Rooftop Terrace.
I didn’t knew it had one, until I checked in, and the personnel explained how it would be open from Friday to Sunday.

I slept on the last level just right under the Rooftop terrace, so I could hear the beats of the party going on. It only went on until 12:30 so it wasn’t that bad, because I went to sleep later, but if you are staying at this hotel, pay attention to this detail!

I went visit it one night and it was very fun and had a live DJ! Drinks were not too expensive and tasted very good!

Around the corner of the hotel you can also find some bars.

Hotel is also petfriendly and has a parking lot, which I didn’t used, and also has WiFi free of charge!

I absolutely loved this hotel the staff were incredibly kind and obliging the roof terrace and gardens surrounding are beautiful and unique but for me the best part was the staff front of house, day staff, ngt staff, roof terrace staff, cleaners, restaurant and bar staff every single person I came into contact with was incredibly kind, friendly and professional .
I’m very grateful for the experience and I will most definitely come back and stay with ye 🙏🏼 x

The hotel is conveniently located opposite a major train station. Holzmarkt is around the corner, too. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The garden of the hotel is lovely and the personnel is friendly and service minded.

Third time we’re staying here. Such good value for money. The staff is incredibly helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s our preferred option in Berlin.

Good and convenient to the train station. No gym and the room was a little small (in a L shape where the corridor was not usable space).

Stayed here for a concert. Only 10 mins walk to Mercedes Benz arena. Check in staff accommodated my early arrival. The rooms are small but super modern and clean. The shower was amazing!
We had food and pre drinks in the restaurant/bar and both were really good. A special thank you to the barman, Tony, he really made our experience so much better!

- Just a few minutes from the train / bus station. There's a supermarket at the station as well.
- Rooftop bar at the hotel is super nice but limited opening hours and slightly pricey.
- Rooms were small but very nice: excellent air-condition and very sound proof even tho we were only few doors away from the sky bar on the seventh floor.
- super quick check in and check out, staff speaks English.
- didn't take the breakfast option since it was super pricey

Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

What a class hotel this is, made a booking on the wrong date, found out too late so thought I couldn't cancel anymore. The staff helped me out in the kindest way and rescheduled my booking to next month, this is what hospitality is all about. 5 stars out of 5, without even visiting (which I will definitely do next month).

Very much a three star hotel with that four star feel! Had a very nice stay here. Had a lovely view from my 6th floor room and was greeted by a lovely welcome gift (in addition to a 5€ voucher for the bar, for booking directly). Booking was made very easy by the help of the reservations manager, Moritz, and check in and out was a breeze, thanks to Kevin and the rest of the front of house staff. Will definitely keep coming back to Amano Group hotels and recommend them to everyone!

Perfect location, awesome service, great rooms, and overall setup. Beds are comfy, ac rocks, decoration is minimalistic but nice and bed and other furniture are very comfortable. Kudos to the cuban gentleman who helped us checking in after midnight after a troubled day.

Had a lovely one night stay in a “Business Zimmer” which was perfectly quiet, clean, and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, in particular the gentlemen who works the Night Shift assisted us in ordering some late food delivery.

The room had nice big windows (which you can open), thick blackout curtains, and a bathtub in the large bathroom. Hot water and high water pressure was great. Nespresso machine in the room also appreciated.

Would recommend.

Considering the price of roughly 100 euros for a night In a double room I’d say it is a five star experience. Only downsides were that the ac didn’t seem to work and that the beds were pretty hard.

Otherwise a really nice room, Hotel, skybar and an easy accesible parking (for an added cost) below the hotel.

Super lovely hotel. Our stay was very comfortable. We accidentally overslept the check out and were able to pay for a few extra hours which made our trip a lot easier. The people by the counter were the sweetest both at arrival and leave. I would definitely come back :)

This is a stunning hotel in a great location, modern and stylish with a great roof top bar. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone
