The best place to try the Wiener Schnitzel. The portions were massive, you can share 1 for 2 people. I liked the veal, potato salad and the cranberry sauce. Passion martini was also good. The restaurant has a nice ambiance but tables are too close to each other and it can get loud sometimes.

We had an amazing dinner. This is my 3rd time visit to Borchardt. I love the Wiener schnitzel.They serve a homemade bread with a butter. Everything we tried is delicious .The atmosphere and the servise is really good. You must have a reservation. It’s always busy. Highly recommended.

A restaurant that everyone should go for either lunch, dinner, or both. Restaurant serves high quality German food, including vegetarian and vegan options. Everything we tried was amazing; they are also famous for their Schnitzel - and as per their webpage you can find some celebrities there. Service was excellent, we were very well looked after. Interieur is a bit outdated though.

One of the most famous classic restaurants of Berlin. The signature dish is for sure the Wiener Schnitzel (Vienna style). Right now you can enjoy it with a typical German specialty, the asparagus from Beelitz.

It’s always quite crowded and sometimes also very noisy. You can spot German politicians, sport stars and their entourage and some gold diggers.

Great restaurant recommended by a friend from Berlin. Seasonal asparagus and classic schnitzels made everyone happy. Big space with 2 rooms, we liked the back room more intimate that the to-be-seen front room. Great service and friendliness. Book in advance, seems it’s not a very well kept secret.

If you wish to experience Wiener schnitzel with the size of the full plate with crispy cover this is the place ! Service is nice and attentive with the bit of the German direct style. Wine list impressive and worth checking.

The bread was perfect and the arugula salad was delicious. It's hard to say that about a salad, but try it. The weiner schnitzel was amazing with the lemon and jam. The portion was huge and I could finish it all. The seating is a little tight but everyone was very polite

My mom and I walked by borchardt after arriving into Berlin and decided to try eating here. I was concerned there was a dress code required to eat here as many people looked fairly well dressed and the restaurant looked like a finer dining establishment, but luckily there was no dress code and they seated us fairly quickly even though we did not have a reservation.

I would recommend the burrata appetizer as it was creamy and not dry compared to some other restaurants I’ve had. Overall the food tasted wonderful, and it is on the pricier side for the portion size which Americans might find to be smaller. I think the quality and taste of the food makes up for it.

Quite an impressive experience, which came as a surprise to us.

We got lucky with a 2pax reservation at the door the day before. Food turned out great, affordable, and cocktails were also nice. We ordered their signature Schnitzel and a Veal Fillet. We didn't do any starters as we knew from reviews that the portions of their mains were huge and yes they were!

Also too full to order desserts by that point, the place was getting quite crowded and noisy indoors (someone has to redesign their acoustics) so we left but with happy hearts. Their waiters and waitresses were also decently friendly in the earlier service at night.

Best schnitzel I have had! And the goose was great as well. Overall, very nice atmosphere and professional staff. Definitely recommended.

Food is good. No air conditioning. They claim there are a lot of cool people or stars, sometimes. It is quite loud to talk.

High expectations, high reward. Oysters taste fresh, tartare is smooth as silk and the vegetarian option was great too.

Uber locals with Ferrari, Lambo and RR are coming here in the evening as well as some celebs. The beef Tartare and the Schnizel are sure bet. Impressive wine list. Perfect service but boring interior design. Tip well your concierge if he get u a nice table on a Friday evening ;-)

Fantastic schnitzel in an old school Berlin reataurant. Prawns to start which were so great they almost swam off the plate followed by the knock out main course. Suggest you akip breakfast and lunch due to the very generous portion sizes.

My husband ordered regular schnitzel and I took the vegan one. Best vegan schnitzel I ever had!! Really recomend it. Would have been even better with some sauce and garlic butter😍

It’s really worth the hype. The staff did an amazing job, they were on point with everything! The food is delicious and the portions are quite big! What a great experience!
