Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was everything that we had hoped for, comfortable, clean, great bed and shower and plenty of other facilities such as coffee machine and tv. The breakfast is well worth getting!! The smoothies were unreal the pancakes tickled my girlfriend’s biscuit. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure that my girlfriend had a great birthday with free drinks, chocolates and a card. Highly recommend staying here!! The gym is great to pump hard too.

We loved every bit of our experience at the Hotel Luc in Berlin. Fabulous location! The hotel is chic, rooms are a comfortable size for a metro city hotel. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast in the hotel was great. Our favorite activity was using the hotel bikes and biking around the city -- go to the East Side Gallery -- it's spectacular! Can't say enough about this spot -- we will definitely be back if we return to Berlin.

The Hotel Luc in Center City Berlin was a fantastic location for our stay in May 2024. The hotel, located at Gendarmenmarkt, one of the major historic squares, is close to all the transportation options and tourist attractions like Checkpoint Charlie. We loved the stylish salon check in with great concierge service. Our suite located on the second floor was spacious with a full and half bath, two refrigerators, two TVs, and plenty of storage. The windows opened for fresh air. The linens and towels were top notch. The hotel left a welcome note and treats for our arrival. While no pool, the steam/sauna room with lounge chairs was a nice space for relaxation. The restaurant had great food and service in a beautiful room or outside cafe. The street had no traffic and was quiet due to barriers for construction of the Koncerthaus nearby.

Great hotel in safe/fun neighborhood of Berlin! The room was very nice and updated which I appreciated. The staff was always friendly, helpful and responsive.

Definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting! Just a 15 min walk to the Brandenburg Gate and 15 minutes opposite to Museum Island. This location makes it easy to walk to the most famous locations!

Beautiful hotel with such a kind and welcoming staff. We chose this hotel because of how close it is to the Christmas market on Gendarmenmarkt. We stayed in a junior suite which was perfect for our family. The hotel and suite were very clean. Breakfast in the restaurant was delightful as was our server. Will definitely be returning to this hotel when we're back in Berlin! Note for future travelers that are driving in- The parking is off site in a parking garage down the street.

Wonderful hotel with history. Beautifully designed, lots of art, brings King Friedrich the Great to Gendarmenmarkt and just next to the French Dome. Best of Berlin all nearby, much in walking distance. Great breakfast choice! Not sure though one gets into eating and spending mode with the online menu that one has to read on the small screen on the iPhone. Rooms are TOP. Some have view on Gendarmenmarkt. Unique.

Firstly, we were really impressed by the staff (in particular, Florian and Tim) who did a great job introducing the hotel to us and giving us some dinner recommendations. The hotel rooms are immaculately clean and beautiful and the gym is not too bad by hotel standards. There was a pull up bar, weights and a few cardio machines. Would choose to stay here again the next time we are in Berlin.

Quite simply Hotel Luc is beyond exceptional. With an incredible team of staff, a wonderful location and an outstanding breakfast each morning. We loved every minute of our stay and will return. If you are going to Berlin, stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

I stayed at Hotel Luc in August this year, and from check-in to the very last minute, everything was perfect! We were welcomed with two glasses of champagne, even before they knew we were here for a birthday trip. The entire staff was exceptionally kind and professional, providing maps and advice on things to do in Berlin at the front desk on our arrival.

Our room was spacious and well-furnished, although I'd recommend opting for a Nespresso machine instead of the Illy coffee machine. I'm a cleanliness maniac, and I must say, bravo! It's the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in – everything in our room was immaculate.

Breakfast is served à la carte until late, making mornings stress-free.

For my girlfriend's birthday, they surprised us with a small present and a card signed by all the staff, which was incredibly sweet and appreciated.

Cannot think of a better hotel in Berlin, nor location at that! Within close proximity to a majority of important sights, Hotel Luc has been one of the best Autograph Collection hotels we have stayed at. It is close to stop #7 on the "Citysightseeing" Hop on/Hop off bus, and a taxi is readily available out front of the hotel. I have been to Berlin before, and stayed in Alexanderplatz; however, this location is incredibly better. You will feel how luxurious it is upon entry, yet it is not pretentious. While there, you MUST eat at Heritage; it will be one of the best meals of your life. Across the side street is a wonderful restaurant Hugo & Notte which is also not to miss.

I loved my stay at hotel Luc! The staff is super nice and very helpful. The rooms are amazing and the breakfast has plenty of vegan options which all are great.

Hotel Luc is part of the autograph collection of Marriott Bonvoy. This is a 7 story hotel that I would consider a boutique property. The entrance is very subdued as you enter into a well appointed reception area. The main floor also contains the Heritage restaurant which was an enjoyable dining experience.

Our junior suite while not exactly consistent with posted pictures from the hotel's website was well appointed and offered a lovely view from our 6th floor perch. The bathroom was well organized.

The reception staff was excellent and always available to provide assistance. The location was extremely convenient to many sites within walking distance including the Brandenburg Gate to the Museum Island along with many more sites.

Beautiful property that looks and feels brand new. Thoughtful design that fits in well with the city’s historic aura but very modern and sleek. The staff was incredible. Got a complimentary suite upgrade and they were so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast that was included was terrific and one of the servers, I believe his name was Miercle, couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. Everything about this hotel was incredible, especially the location. This is a must-stay property for anyone in Berlin.

The rooms are nice and clean. I love all of the cool photography on every floor. It was just something nice to look at when taking the stairs. We had an issue with the air conditioning, and maintenance fixed it immediately. Close to many delicious restaurants and must see sites. We were able to walk everywhere and needed the train only once.

Only suggestion:
Closing the sauna at 21:00 seems a little early, after an evening workout it’s abit disappointing when you can’t jump into the sauna anymore.
I think keeping it open until 22:00 would make a lot of guests happy!

I am writing primarily about the service at this gorgeous hotel. We were greeted so WARMLY by reception. Everyone with whom we interacted was so kind and unpretentious. Also the pictures of the fitness room and spa don’t do them any justice. I didn’t have much time, but would like to return just for the spa/yoga area. Great location in the business district also. Beautiful modern decor and super comfy beds.

just returned from an AMAZING stay at hotel luc in berlin.
from start to finish our 3 day stay was perfection. the rooms are spotless, the spa is very private and brand new at this boutique hotel and the customer service is outstanding. from the welcome drinks, to the email correspondence before and after our trip, most of this was due to florian, although all of the staff at this fine hotel were lovely! do consider opting for the balcony upgrade it is worth the extra cost, because the views are really what make the hotel great in addition to everything else I mentioned.
also if you have any questions regarding dinning, tourist activities ect the front desk are super helpful.

the drinks from the bar and the bar staff are so friendly, also the food looked amazing, next time I cannot wait to try the restaurant. metro, shops all close by. excellent location.

We will be back for sure.

This property deserves its excellent reviews. Very comfortable rooms with a brand new feel and in a terrific location in Berlin. I would absolutely stay here again.

Quaint hotel on a quiet street in a large city, yet close enough to walk to just about everything. Near major train stations. Wonderful hotel staff and hotel bar and restaurant team were outstanding.
