Alpenhotel Fischer

If I could put 10 stars under service for this hotel I would. We came here for our wedding party, a group of 11. They were the greatest staff I've ever had at a hotel. Extremely friendly and they made the hotel feel like home but with mountain views. They pack box lunches for us for our very pack and active day out on Konigsee lake which is 10mins away. They also provide bass passes for the area as you check in. Andrea at the front desk was so great to talk to at the bartender Michael was awesome at recommending drinks. Without a doubt I would stay again. 10/10.

Absolutely fantastic, only stayed 1 night unfortunately as had other plans booked.
The meal in the Hotel Restaurant was the BEST I have ever had anywhere in the World on my travels.

We had an amazing time staying at the hotel. The staff was extra friendly and attentive; all requests were answered immediately and courteously.
The breakfast is excellent, and the selection is so large that some people may wish they had more room in their stomachs.
Dinner was varied, delicately prepared, and also very attractively presented. Never forget: the eye eats with you :)
The overnight stay in the spacious and comfortable rooms was relaxing, lacking nothing, including the morning coffee-at-bed we happily prepared for ourselves.
The location is perfect for trips in all directions.
Overall, we highly recommend the hotel in every way, and we are already looking forward to returning.

Not normally one for reviews but for this place I'll make an exception. Just had a wonderful four days here and quite frankly it was a phenomenal stay.
From the moment I stepped through the door staff were very helpful and happy to help despite my lack of German.
Superb Bavarian cuisine certainly ruined my diet but hey I was on holiday right.
All this and Berchtesgaden truly is paradise.

The reception lady was (in her late 40s probably) well informed, helpful and answered all my questions right away. She provided my bus schedule brochure to Salzburg and even highlighted the one I need to pay attention. I felt cared.

Breakfast was nice, whole working team seem well prepared and excellent service. I loved my room's bathroom, so comfortable and newly renovated. Room had everything needed, even drinks in refridgerator were selected with care. If we go back to Berchtegaden again, we will choose this hotel again.

Will definitely go there again and again.. as a solo traveler who uses public transportation this was a perfect choice..What I liked cleanliness, facilities, staff, breakfast was perfect and the location is very close to the main station which has all the bus connections you will need to visit the attractions.

Cons: no air conditioning or fans

We loved this hotel and Berchtesgaden is beautiful. Good facilities and clean, giant bedrooms and we had a beautiful balcony over looking the trees and mountains. Visited in October so the trees were changing colours. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the main town however the route is pretty and alongside the river so did not feel like a task!

Really enjoyed our family stay here. We got the half board option with dinner included as we had small children. The food turned out to be very good, considering it's apparent good value. Bus stops outside the hotel will take you straight to center of Bertchesgaden or alternatively to Konigsee. Staff were always courteous and helpful. Would stay here again.

Fantastic authentic Hotel. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay! We upgraded to half board on arrival and enjoyed a delicious 5 course meal for a very reasonable price!

The hotel is beautiful! Our room was outstanding with an excellent view. The staff are the sweetest and most helpful. It was very hard to leave. Please visit, you will love it!

Hotel was extremely well maintained and clean, staff were very pleasant and helpful, food and drink was of the most divine quality and the hotel is situated in the perfect spot for all things to do in Berchtesgaden. Great hotel!
