We had very good stay! Only 1 night (as I don’t see reason to spend in city more than that), and room was good, bed - comfortable, bathroom - clean and big. Location is just in center which is nice, but it can be scary and uncomfy as lot of people sleeping on the streets, shady etc, as it’s just in front of station. But hotel itself was nice! It’s city itself where we don’t want to return.

The hotel was only of use for sleeping and the breakfast and for this it was perfect. The location is a straight 10/10 if you need to be close to the central station. The breakfast was very nice! The rooms were a bit on the older and worn side of things but still a 100% functional.

The room is spacious, very comfortable bed, location is perfect. They have air-conditioning but not cool enough for us or it's too hot these days😆 highly recommend！

Great place to stay when you're in Essen! Lots of cool walkable shops, bars and restaurants in a charming traffic-free plaza that's right around the corner. Across the street from a massive train station, and about an 8 minute cab ride / 35 minute walk from the Messe (if you are attending Spiel) - super convenientfor getting around. Awesome breakfast too, and the staff were great. Highly recommended!

Brilliant location opposite the Railway station. Used it as a base for our trips to Christmas Markets in Dortmund and Dusseldorf and Essen. A short walk from a lovely Christmas Market and the famous Synagogue that survived Kristalnach in 1938. Very moving place to simply stand and reflect

Best hotel in Essen! Very large room, super cool.. Bathroom was perfect. All the hotel was great. The breakfast: awesome! With everything.
Best part of the hotel was Jimmy's Bar!
Jimmy and his crew was super nice and helped us to find the perfect drink for us. Slept 3 night very well. Sure we will come back next year!

Gourmet breakfast a lot of variants especially for vegan. 30 sec from the essen central station.

Great location, very friendly staff, clean and all amenities are available, the location is really unique because it’s a cross the street from the main train and buss station plus it 2 minutes walking from the Main Street of all the shops, restaurants and shopping centres
The only downside of it that it has no parking so you have to park your car in the nearby parking which is about 5 minutes walking distance.

Comfy well insulated room. Breakfast was excellent with a wide spread of hot and cold foods. Special mention for the friendly and efficient service given by Herr Popa.

Nice hotel, excellent breakfast. Located mid town, 150m from main railway station. Highly recommended.

I went here with my family, we rented 2 rooms. Its really cool here. There's a centralized climate system, lots of space, good flatscreen TV, big beds, clean bathroom... plus, there's a mini bar. But it's really expensive, a small coke is 3 euros, so you can probably figure out the rest of the prices. Breakfast is grand, and overall, its a really good place. Weird thing is there is no real light, just lamps but I guess you don't need light in the living room. (in the bathroom and stuff of course there is light). By the way, you get some free chocolate bars, lots of tea, hot water, and a telephone included for free!

Nice, clean rooms, but not very friendly staff at the reception. Breakfasts were the same for all 3 days, but were also delicious. Sad to have too much foreign people wondering around the hotel....

Great location directly at Essen main station in the city center. Short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast buffet. Good connection (5 min) to Messe Essen with subway U11.

Very comfortable beds, staff on reception were great. Bathroom was also very good. Excellent location right across from the train station.

Very good. As usually in Germany you can find here all you need. Simple easy and fast.
No special things but all usefull and in time.
Yes, breckfast is good and reach, not kind of continental french, but real one.

Stayed for 5 nights and loved it. Staff was friendly, rooms were kept very clean, and the breakfast was great! :)

Very good hotel with decent breakfast. Perfect location. The only cons is the clock located nearby. It might be disturbing.

Really easy to find and access from the central station. Room nice and clean, staff polite. Really enjoyed the few time I spent here.

Im really impresed that you can find this very nice hotel in city centre. From this hotel everywhere is close! Nice rooms in very good conditions. Recomend
