Cafe & Bar Celona Essen

Really nice place to have lunch. Right in the city center. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The restaurant is very spacious. The was extremely delicious and portions were huge! For that price it was very good.

I personally love the Celona Curry aka Gelbes Curry. The one with chicken is my favorite.

Also the banana beer is something I have trust her and I love it ❤🤙🤌

Nice place for a quick bite for breakfast in a central location. Classic Celona charm and atmosphere, good quality, good service. Nice and spacious terrace as well protected by plexiglass panels for a bit of privacy so that you can enjoy your time there. Card payment possible, public parking options in the area (street or Limbecker Platz mall, and so on), so overall a good idea! Immer wieder gern! 😎

Great and cozy spot in the Essen center. Staff are courteous and the atmosphere is top-notch.

Excellent place, nicely located in the heart of Essen. The food is tasty and the coffee too. Normal prices. I've been to this place at least 15 times. The service always excellent. The waitresses always polite and really helpful.

The food was great! We had breakfast there. We chose "Buenos dias" , costs 25 for 2 people and it was huge!! So many options! Toni was our server and she was awesome.

Lovely evening sitting outside with the Christmas lights. Good food and company and oozing with atmosphere. Brilliant.

Good place for breakfast in the city center. Open on Sundays as well. They have breakfast buffet and also other breakfast options in the menu. We had Muchos Grande, and it was delicious.

I’m an Albanian costumer, and I can say that this is the best coffee I have ever been. This is my favorite coffe in Essen for many reasons. I want to start with tha staff, they are clearly the best ever, they are always nice and friendly, and for me as an foreigner its really important. Also the food and the drinks and everything else is on top for me. Can’t wait to visit them again when I’m back in Deutschland😍😍😍.

Many nice evenings here since many years! And it's also the place I met my children's mother the first time.

We were there for breakfast. Had their beautifully flaky croissant, fresh lemon cake, yummy fruit yoghurt & vegan sandwich. Every single item was fantastic. And the people....such a good-natured team! Nevertheless, we wont mind going there again.

The coffee was prepared and served unexpectedly professional. The bavarages were strong and with a little biscuits and a class of water, which meets my standard and is quite hard to find in Germany.

The location and the staff were also very good. And again untypical for Germany there was a really nice Latino music playing in the background.

A cappuccino was 3€ and double espresso 3€, so i think the prices are ok compared to the value.

Very nice place and good customer service. They even have English menus for those visitors who don't speak German.

Super fluffy and light scrambled eggs. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. They have a great looking breakfast buffet as well but I only came for eggs and coffee. Would definitely recommend!
