Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa María

All considering this was my first time in Cuba, I would say it was pretty fantastic. The rooms are clean, a little outdated but all around clean and taken care of. Cleaners came everyday and cleaned the rooms, but made sure to switch out your towels every two days. I didn’t spend much time at the pool but they looked clean. If you like a quieter pool day there are two, one of which is stays pretty empty. The beach is amazing, there is a reef right off the beach with a ton of life if you’re into snorkelling. The food is good with tons of options. The a la cartes are good however the steak house doesn’t have steak. The Italian restaurant was very good though! I travelled with my mom who has eating restrictions with gluten and dairy however the staff was very helpful and she got her own plate made to make sure she could eat. My only complaints are the lack of organization with events and information. The beach should definitely be used more for events however chairs start to get piled up right at 4 and you feel like you’re getting chased off the beach and the bar closes around 4 also even though you can see a beautiful sunset right on the beach. Overall this was a great resort in Cuba and I would definitely come back!

Just returned from a beautiful 1-week stay at this resort. Super fun and relaxing getaway. Food & drinks were abundant and the property was clean. Great weather and beach is wonderful! The staff really do go above & beyond to ensure your stay is great. Many thanks to Pedro from public relations who answered all our questions and always made sure we were well taken care of. Already planning our next visit.

The most beautiful experience I 've ever had in my life was in this resort. The staff, the service are amazing. The food and the drinks are so delicious. I recommend 100% this resort to all the people that wanna come to Cuba.

we spent a week at grand sirenis and we loved our stay. The management and Pedro from customer service were very professional and welcoming. the rooms are very clean. The evening show is very nice and there is many entertainment during the day at the beach, the pool and activities in the evening. I recommend

We just finished our perfect two-weeks vacation in hotel Grand Sirenis. Overall it was a great first experience in Cuba! The hotel is nice with one big lobby, full of bars and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and they make your vacation even better! They are very helpful when you need something, specially Pedro from the public relations who helped us to solve a problem in our room! Big thanks!
The best thing is a beautiful spacious beach with a lot of sun beds to lay down. Also the swimming pools were always clean and nice! The only thing we weren’t so satisfied with was the variety of food and cocktails. For the two weeks vacation it was not changing much and we ate the same to the round but the taste was delicious! 😊
on the other hand we celebrated our Christmas there and the dinner they prepared for us was absolutely amazing! Also the all day was great thanks to the whole stuff and entertainment team! 😊 really appreciate the dancers and the evening dance shows!

A very nice clean hotel with the most beautiful beach. There was a lot of food and alcohol, I really liked everything, but there was really one unpleasant incident - someone came into our room and stole money from the safe. And they took a little. When I said this to an employee from the administration named Pedro, this friend simply ignored me, did not even apologize. Very untidy and not polite. It's strange that such people work in such a good hotel. In my opinion, he doesn't belong there. So despite the wonderful rest, there was an unpleasant aftertaste. And the most interesting thing is that we had no complaints against them, but Pedro behaved as if I had stolen his money. An unpleasant type

We want from November 6-13 to grand Sirenis. The 4 of us ( all adults) had a great time! The food was good! We were concerned going as you always hear terrible reviews on food in Cuba but we had an excellent time and ate pizza for lunch and it was delightful. Fresh eggs and fruit everyday, not much too complain about. Additionally, Havier at the main pool bar was the highlight of our trip. He always had our drinks ready and was always smiling.
Finally, the rooms were nice and had air conditioning everyday so again no issues there.
We heard on our flight home about issues at other hotels on the island based on the November time frame, but we had no issues at all and we will definitely go back one day.

My only complaint, they only had volleyball one day as someone kept stealing it on them (I heard anyways) but I did finally get to play and will just bring my own ball next time!

5/5 would definitely go back.

Just checked out after a wonderful vacation...the people, beach and service are excellent. Pedro Ojeda, Public Relations, was the epitome of a great host, making sure our stay was enjoyable, but all the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. Despite criticisms of food in Cuba, we never left the buffet hungry. All that, and the best beach in Cuba!

My first time in Cuba, my wife has been many times. I enjoyed it, great place to get away. Nice building, amazing beachfront, not overly crowded or annoying like some places, great landscape and pools, large buffet, friendly staff, overall it's a nice resort! The food was not my favourite part, so it's great that the buffet was very large and the kids and I could always find something. We did the Catamaran excursion and the swim with dolphins which was amazing.

The best place on Cuba.
This is third time we are here and I have no any complain...accomodation, food, service... everything is fantastic.

Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Especially Yinet and Pedro. Michael Jackson show was amazing. Drinks were great. Housekeeping great. Everything was lovely. The brach is the best I have seen. All in all our vacations were amazing.

I had a beautiful experience in this hotel. The food was good and there were many varieties of it. Yinet was the best customer service. The beach was the most beautiful I have ever seen in my entire life. The animation team was excellent and the shows were incredible.

This is our 2nd time to this resort and it won't be our last! We returned because the staff are A1 and the hotel is very clean and make you feel like family! The beach is breathtaking and grounds are beautiful.

Jorge at the quiet pool bar has my heart! And Ricki at the beach bar is phenomenal.
Rosmay, Luis and Edelis at the lobby bar have the biggest smiles and the most welcoming hearts. Adrian and his team went above and beyond for my daughters 13th birthday at the French Le a carte, made her feel very special with very little notice. I sure will miss this place but we will be back soon. This resort is highly recommended if your looking for a trip to paradise.

WOW, we Loved our stay at Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria. Initially we had some concerns about returning to our beloved Cuba but as many experienced travelers we did our research ( and again thanks to TripAdvisor ) and decided to give Grand Sirenis a try, we were NOT disappointed , we were very pleased with our choice. All in all we had fabulous time ; the service was excellent in respects , the facilities were top notch and the people as always marvelous . Notable among them Yinet especially attentive and always asking if everything was up to our expectations and not only with us we observed throughout our stay her doing the same with everyone. Pedro Mario was also a great asset. Thanks to you all for contributing to a memorable vacation . And thanks to TripAdvisor for providing an open forum for researching. Viva Cuba.

The rooms are immaculate, and the beach is the BEST in Cayo Santa Maria.

As a picky Toronto girl, I have extremely high standards for service. Not only are the rooms more modern and accommodating than resorts in Dominican Republic (usb ports, spotless, coffee pods, waterfall showers!) - but the staff are second to none.

We travel to the Caribbean often (Mexico, Curaçao, Jamaica & DR), and this is the second time in Cuba in 10 years. Our expectations were far exceeded. Every single person we encountered was welcoming, helpful, and kind. We still have 5 days here, and we’re so happy to be here. Pedro, in public relations, went above and beyond for us. We were truly treated so well. All staff at the buffet, bars and beach are spectacular. The food is excellent and zero shortages!!! We had lasagna, fresh fish, and new items every night! Omelettes for breakfast! Thank you so much for making us so happy!!:)

Just returned from this hotel. Amazing brach and grounds. Very clean. Nice rooms. Good food choices. Beautiful pool and palm trees around the whole area. Great service at buffett, and beach bar. Great nightly shows and lobby entertainment. Rooms were kept very clean. Brach is wide and beautiful. Great service from Alex at the beach bar. Would return for sure.

Beautiful location and hotel. This was our first trip to Cuba and we had a great time. The crystal clear water is definitely worth visiting this spot and it’s great for families with small kids since the water is not too rough. We’ve been to many beautiful beaches but this one is absolutely one of my favourites. The hotel room was very nice, clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had lots of fun with the latin dance lessons with Carlos on the beach. The kids had lots fun with Gyksy in the kids club and all the beach staff were very helpful. The food was good. We never got sick the entire trip. We would recommend this hotel and plan on going back.

The resort is exelente. It’s one of the best trip ever. The hotel have lots of entertaiment. The beach is the most amazing one. The rooms super clean and nice. Everybody complain about cubain food come to this resort you will eat like kings. The staff is so friendly and always there to make you smile. And for the best part Pedro at guest service made our special event the most spectacular memorable ever. They worked hard so much and made it the best ever.

The place is very nice and modern and the staff is top notch and the beach is amazing the only negative is they need to improve the food but overall it’s a wonderful place to relaxed.The activities girl is so nice her name is Maday she is now my amiga she even say goodbye to me also the public relations name Yinet is always asking if everything is ok and the guys in the first floor bar is so nice especially with my husband. The waiter named Javier and Yoandy is so great they even put a flower on our table on our last day. I would recommend this place Grand Sirenes Cayo Santa Maria.
