Absolutely beautiful location. People are amazing here and have met great friends. I would like to give credit to our server Alfredo. He has excellent service and is always attentive and friendly. He fulfilled my order for food and drink as soon as possible. My time here has been unforgettable. Would highly recommend for people to come and see for yourself.

First time going on vacation in 12 years and I have to say this place was perfect! There are so many things to do, from excursions off the resort to activities on it, the staff was amazing and would literally give you the shirt off their back, and the resort itself was breath taking. A day into the vacation, I was already planning and booking coming back. Can’t say enough about how amazing this place was, legitimately 0 complaints.

This resort is by far the best resort i have ever been to. the food is great & the people here are amazing, so welcoming and kind. would 100% recommend this resort to everyone thinking about travelling to cuba!! no other resort comes close!

To start, if you are looking for a party atmosphere, loud music and entertainment well into the early morning hours… this is not the hotel for you. Though there is evening entertainment, it is more of a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and a place to rest rather than party. The facility and grounds are stunning – though not a recent build, the hotel is immaculately maintained by staff and is spacious, lush & inviting. The rooms are large and incredibly clean. Though towels are sparce, you can ask for extras – if facecloths are a must for you, bring your own as they only provide bath & hand towels. Toilet paper is also limited (though always replenished when needed) and Kleenex is another item to bring along if important to you.

The staff are all incredibly welcoming & eager to please. During our visit, two stood out above the rest and are the main reasons why we will be returning, and wholeheartedly recommending our family & friends to this resort:

Rachel Martinez (Wedding Planner/Concierge): She is a hospitality professional who took meticulous care of all our needs during our stay – from room extras, to evening dinning desires, to renting a classic car for a day’s outing… she took care of everything seamlessly. Rachel LOVES her clients & her job, and it shows. By the end of our stay, hugs were a common occurrence and we all felt like family… Rachel is an incredible person who will go out of her way to ensure your stay is both everything you expected, and a lot more.

Angle Alberto Ramudo Perez: Generally stationed in the dining hall (buffet), Angel quickly became the smiling face we looked for come meal time. His charismatic personality & welcoming attitude was the highlight of our days and we both enjoyed sharing ways of living & stories of our own countries. He always ensured we had everything we needed and was quick to obtain anything we lacked – he is an incredibly hard worker and made us feel like royalty.

Though it is true that at times, shortages of a particular item occurred in both food and beverages, there was always other options and replenishments were often fulfilled by the next day. Though it is not an adults only facility, the grounds are so spacious and well mapped out that you never feel crowded or confined no matter your location. No need to reserve a chair around the pool, there is always plenty of room no matter what time of day and you can easily find a quiet spot for reading or a more lively ambience closer to the pool & snack bar. Roberto will ensure your chairs are cushioned and your towel is set when needed.

In regards to the food, bringing a few additional items in your luggage will go a long ways in ensuring a more palatable experience come meal time – spices (salt/pepper) & your favorite condiments is a must. Breakfast favorites such as P&J, your favorite juice box and snacks (pretzels/nuts/bars) is another great idea. Overall, you can always find something you like during meal time but ensuring you have your lil’ extras will go a long way in making you feel satisfied and happy.

Tipping is very much appreciated – instead of brining lots of smaller denominations, when you arrive offer to exchange your bigger bills for smaller ones with the staff then use those bills to tip during the rest of your stay… this is very much appreciated as higher currency is sought after as it’s difficult to exchange lower currency at their banks. Bringing large bottles (Costco size) of children’s & adult medication (Tylenol, feminine products, spices, Ziplock bags) is another great way to show your appreciation to the staff – this can be given to a staff member at the desk who will ensure it is distributed throughout. Gardening gloves for the workers, baseball caps and sunscreen are other favorites that really help improve their daily lives as these are all items they are not able to easily obtain themselves. A few children’s toys/sport balls & art supplies can make a big difference for the families of those who help make your stay comfortable.

I just returned from another amazing trip to Ensenachos. This hotel holds a large piece of my heart. As beautiful as the 2 beaches are, the people who work at this place are truly the stars.
The hotel is the only one on the Cayo. You are not sharing the beach with any other hotels. This allows ample space for everyone. Ensenachos is my favourite, it is quite and you can just enjoying walking the beach or staring at the water. If you need some entertainment Yuniely the bartender will treat you with his great humour and kindness. As well as some fantastic drinks.

We ate very well and could not find any fault with the food. Don’t miss out on lunch at Megano.

Overall very good value for money, but most importantly you will leave with some great friendships.

As a returning guest to this wonderful resort I can truly say the uniqueness of this place can only be appreciated by visiting. Words are hard to describe the beauty of the beaches and the genuine friendliness of the staff. So many of the staff have been there for years and for me it is feels like I am visiting good friends again.

The beaches are incredible and each has its own vibe. Megano is busier and boasts an absolutely wonderful beach bar manned by Javier where water reaches right up to under the structure at high tide. The restaurant at this beach should not be missed and I had some of the best meals I ever had in Cuba at this location. Ensenachos beach is my favourite. It is quiet and you can walk the beach for a long ways not seeing a building at all, just sand and palm trees. At the east end of the beach is an awesome little bar run by Yuniely and Yulexy who are as friendly as the beach is beautiful. It is easy to sit there and chat while staring out at paradise.

The hotel lobby area is beautiful and elegant and there is always wait staff dropping around asking if you need anything. It is very obvious that the people they have hired take pride in serving you. All it takes is a smile and a chat and you have a friend for your entire stay.

There are many reasons people go south, for me it is to swim in crystal clear water on spectacular beaches surrounded by amazing genuine people. That is what keeps me coming back to this private gem of a hotel on its own Cayo!

Have stayed here many times I have lost count. The staff here is superior and always aim to please. Megano Beach is so beautiful and tranquil. I had no issues with my room except that the safe was not working but within half an hour it was fixed. My room was clean and I never went hungry. There may have been a few items that were not on the buffet on a daily basis but there was never a lack of food and other choices. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Miss my Cuban coffee in the morning and the many friends that I have made there over the years.

Love the grounds and ensenachos and all the beaches and snorkeling. The customer service goes above and beyond to help. All the workers are so kind and have lovely smiles and always wanting to help.

I am staying at coral level. One thing that could be improved in coral is how often the shuttles come, sometimes takes too long

We loved our week at the Iberostar Ensenachos and are coming back to the “Coral” side next year!! The service from the buffet (Ray, Laz, Angel) to bar to our housekeeper Adriel and every o thy er kind face we’d see everyday was always warm and helpful. We ate well at the buffet everyday (please learn more about how you will eat more humbly in Cuba than other countries) we also really enjoyed the two a la cart restaurants, REALLY delicious and of course excellent service! Rooms were big and clean, everything is older, but that’s the way I like it! And what can I even say about this beach…. You have to go to a bunch of beaches before you can fully appreciate HOW lovely the ensenachos and Megano beaches are… firm white sand, still, crystal water, NO chair-grabbing chaos, ZERO solicitation…. Just people and swimming and playing and strolling and drinks - fully relaxing. Take a bit of TP from your room in your day bag and you’ll be all set! Bring yourself some hot sauce and maple syrup and remember to bring LOTS of small bills for lots of tipping!! That was one of my favourite activities lol but we got such a deal on a trip to Cuba (WAY lower pricing than travelling to Jamaica or Dominican) so I was happy to shift that money over to tipping my appreciation for such a lovely time!

The best beach in Cayo
We stayed at this resort for a week, and it was a real success choosing the Iberostar Ensenachos.
The hotel is huge, there are several restaurants and bars, in addition to having 2 beaches, one of them the best in the keys. I would definitely repeat and recommend it 100%

We just got back from Encenachos yesterday(Feb 25th) ..Our 5th time! Been to other locations in Cuba 10 times.Encenachos is our home away from home.. We have 5 couples we meet from past Cuba trips. We meet every year. This visit was over topTop .(Post Covid break)….We have so many friends ( staff) Roberto , Sexy Mama , Uly , Carlo (to name a few of many, many!!) Room was excellent ! Outdid themselves with food this time even thought there were a few shortages.(eggs) No big deal! The facilities !… Exellent! )(doing alot of painting and sprucing up !👍
Now .. the Beaches .. what can I say .. Outstanding!! Magano & Encenachos … you need to experience these Beaches .. Best Anywhere!!!

Best travel experience. The staff is lovely. Please don't come if traveling means food to you. They are doing their best in a country where life is getting very hard. Please don't give them coins and bring a lot of cash to exchange cash for them. Don't hesitate to tip them they really rely on it.
The two beaches are wonderful. There is a lot of free activities. I loved snorkeling, pedalo and catamaran. Don't forget to bring a lot of sunscreen and a cream for mosquitos. I hope I'll be back soon. It felt like having a family in Cuba. Love you guys 💗💗💗💓💓

My experience in Cuba was truly one of the best I've ever had, and I owe it all to the exceptional staff at Iberostar. To be honest, I didn't have many expectations going in, as I've learned that having high hopes doesn't always guarantee a great experience. However, to my pleasant surprise, the beaches were simply stunning.

From the moment we arrived, the staff, from our housekeeping team to the entertainment crew, including Osmany (who spent an hour sharing the Cuban culture with us, and answering all our questions making sure our needs were met), Michael (Who took the time to play Uno with all the KIDS while parents relaxed, and came around everyday to greet everyone), and Yeyo (who was at the beach and the pool, dancing and engaging guest in all sorts of activities) left us thoroughly impressed. Although I can't recall all the names of the staff, we met so many wonderful people that it felt like a community where everyone was treated like family.

Speaking of family, I visited with my husband and our two kids, and our days were filled from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. with activities and enjoyment at the resort. The kids' entertainment was an absolute blast, especially for my 4-year-old daughter, who was encouraged to step out of her shell and participate in activities like karaoke and theater performances.

The food: I am a picky eater and have food restrictions, and I was able to enjoy every meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
The rooms: were spacious and clean-housekeeping came by everyday.
The bar: Please bring bills not coins.

side note: if you have time get a taxi and visit the city Satna Clara- so much to do and its so beautiful!

I can honestly say that Iberostar in Cuba will become a yearly tradition for us. It truly is the place to be, and we can't wait to return.

These are what seem to be endless white sand beaches and crystal clear waters as far as the eye can see, no locals, no other hotels, no crowds, just you in paradise saying WOW!! \

One of the best beaches you will find on this spand of land, the water life and it's diversity is amazing. The rooms are large, have alot of room, it's well maintained. The food was edible compared to some other hotels. But above all the best were the animators and the service who went above and beyond to entertain the public starting from some activities at the beach, kid's entertainment, and the evening shows.
