Vida Mountain Resort & Spa

What a wonderful way to start our 2 week trip to Costa Rica. We had booked just one night, but rearranged stuff so we could stay for two. The peace, QUIET, and serenity carried us through some of the noisier and more tumultuous aspects of other places we subsequently visited. Loved the simple local food we were served. Yes, the road up gets difficult, but that part is not long (do NOT NOT NOT start from anyplace other than San Ramon)

Great experience at Vida Mountain. The small resort is beautiful and peaceful. Few other guests and the staff take great care of you. Food is delicious! We also did a coffee tour and forest therapy, both were worthwhile experiences. Yes the road leading to the resort is rocky but our driver handled it expertly. Wi-Fi is a little slow, but it helps to put the phone down. I’d recommend for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Epic views, great food, and an awesome sauna with cold plunge. Lucas was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. We actually had the whole property to ourselves. It’s a long drive from liberia, and it feels very odd the beaten path and worth it. Great last night in Costa Rica and not too far from San Jose airport

Vida Mountain was the most amazing resort I've ever been to. The owner (Debbie) and her daughter (Kelly) made me feel right at home. The design of this resort was very well-thought out with breathtaking views, loads of space to roam around and enjoy the nature, and comfortable living quarters. Prices are very reasonable and like I said- the owner is so humble, makes all the difference! Will definitely be back :)

Vida Mountain is a special place.Just returned from a life changing experience at their yoga retreat. Debbie the Owner and her daughter are so gracious,felt as if family. Our yoga teachers Kelly & Mallory were Amazing! Staff warm &accommodating. Grounds are spectacular. Thank you for this spiritual experience,we will cherish. I had an amazing experience at Vida Mountain. The yoga studio is brand new on top of the mountain, and you get the best mountain and jungle views. You can even see the ocean. The sunsets are so majestic - its like you are floating in the clouds.
The only complaint I had was how long the drive was to get there from the airport! It was about an hour and a half. At least they picked us up and we didnt have to worry about anything. It was just a long drive after the long flight.

Vida Mountain was exactly what I was looking for. I received a 200 hour yoga certification in three wonderfully filled weeks of natural pure bliss! With its spectacular views and above the clouds mountain side setting, peace and love was all I could feel. I can't wait to get back there.

Vida Mountain Resort is absolutely phenomenal! The staff was incredibly kind and always smiling:) I loved the fact that Vida Mountain is more geared to small VIP groups, the staff even knew my name by the second day! I absolutely recommend this to anyone that's looking for a get away.

Where do I even start :) This was my first trip outside of the United States and I must say I am beyond grateful and extremely blessed for all the amazing people, the treasured friendships and many memories that were created. From arrival to departure, the staff was amazing! Our chef was beyond talented, making all of our delicious meals from scratch with ingredients straight from the resorts garden and local markets. I learned so much from the yoga instructors. Not only did they guide us along our 200hr teacher training journey but they also opened their hearts and hands to each one of us with love and light. The scenery is beyond words. The pictures are lovely but being there in person is where the magic is. This is truly a place where you will find gratitude for all around you and humbleness for all that is. There will forever be a part of my heart there.

Vida Mountain was the escape I needed. I was in search of renewal and enlightenment, and Vida Mountain was the experience I was searching for. The staff and amenities are top notch. The food was amazing, and fresh. I've never felt more healthier and rejuvenated. I hope to plan a trip every year to Vida Mountain in future. I

Wow - Vida Mountain - highly recommended. I could not believe how serene, quiet, breathtaking Vida Mountain is. Everything from the accommodations to the food, the resort, to the staff was perfect. Salt water infinity pool, watching Parrots overfly, to the peacefulness. I can't wait to go back.

I received my 200 hr yoga certification at Vida Mountain. It was such an unreal experience being surrounded by the beautiful mountains and waking up to the sounds of the jungle. The staff were so friendly and really made me feel welcomed, thank you again!!! ❤

Amazing place! The staff are all so extremely friendly and it’s really nice to see the lovely relationship they have with locals in the nearby town. Beautiful grounds and housing with an unreal view. Highly recommended to everyone :)

Paradise! I am sure heaven has a special spot like this located there...Kelly and her Mom are the perfect resort host🙏🏾 Chef Pam and Chef Gustavo are the best! The food is cooked and prepared with love ❤The Staff and lead by Gustavo are very attentive and friendly...I love this spot and am coming again!👍🏾👏🏾💃🏿❤

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Vida Mountain. The clouds surrounded us in the morning, once cleared, the views were amazing. Great time relaxing and can't wait to visit again

Amazing location, every single room and amenity was very well designed, the yoga shala is a dream, the staff was attentive, kind, accommodating and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect. Will definitely be going back! ; )

The food was great. And the place unbelievable. Very nice place to have some vacations. Very closed to San Ramon. And surrounded by a lot of nature. Excellent service. I dream to come to this place and stay here for some nights. Also amazing views here.

Most amazing tranquil place ive visited, if you just need to slow down and breath this is definetly an amazing experience and views from every corner as far as you can see!!

Best kept secret in Costa Rica. This is just a tiny piece of paradise in this beautiful country nestled in the mountains with spectacular views. A must see.
