Tramo Los Ángeles

Hidden gem on the way to La Fortuna. we stopped for coffee (which was delicious), and was pleasantly surprised by the homemade fresh cheeses, trail mixes, jams, various pastries confections, and most of all, the shop dogs.

We bought their homemade cheese, chocolate bar, and marmalade… all delicious, especially the chocolate!

Great for a quick stop. Good coffee or hot chocolate. Variety of products to snack or take home like cheese and tamales. Also love their eucalyptus and flowers. The only thing I don't like is that the restrooms are not clean, at least when we have stopped by.

A mandatory stop for one of the best artisan coffee in Costa Rica. This small spot along the way to La Fortuna offers hand made cheese and some local snacks. A truly local experience by a a truly local family business!

We pass by here often and I have to say this is a true hidden gem.
Homemade butter, homemade cheeses, cheeses from Don Beto, great homemade sweets and treats and a great selection of different bean-to-bar chocolates.
If you are travelling between San Ramon and La Fortuna (or just back and forth on the 702 like us), this is a great place to stop.
As an added bonus, washrooms are available if you need a pit stop.

Absolutely amazing. Stoped on the way to La Fortuna for coffee. It was so good we stoped on the way back. This time getting the special cheese and more snacks. What a nice little place. Super friendly people and fantastic food. Highly recommended

Excellent place for the ride up to La Fortuna

A great place to enjoy a good coffee and find a wide variety of the best cheeses of the region and its surroundings, such as palmito...maduro...goat...mozarella...smoked...and many more! More over they offer great cheese tortillas, cajetas, and lots more of delicious things!

It's a perfect little super to stop by when you're in the San Ramon area. There are lots of things to look at and even a Soda to grab a bite to eat.

Best cheese I have ever had in my life; Incredibly friendly and helpful staff; the most addictive cajeta you'll find in all of Costa Rica; beautiful location with ample parking; a great pit stop when driving from one side of the country to the next; oh, and they go ABOVE and BEYOND in helping careless tourists who loose their cell phones.

I wanted to go back to Costa Rica eventually as this was my first trip ever. These people have absolutely ensured that I will return to this beautiful country.

It's a great place to get a drink and snacks while traveling.
