What a gem! Coffee and food were absolutely delicious! For such a small shop they have ample seating and great wifi and a spacious bathroom.

A cold flavored latte was 2,200 and a (large) slice of cake was 3,500. I'll def be back 👏🏻

Lovely and cozy place, located in barrio otoya they open at 1:30pm, great attention from the staff, as a café they do not serve big meals, mostly pastries and a wide selection of coffee, and other cold beverages, parking is on the street, they take basically all credit cards, if you are round I highly recommended

This place was everything we expected... WE tried couple of Cold Coffee (GoldenCrunch & Cookiemaster), both were awesome. I will definitely recommend this cafe for evening Coffee... Though it is open only until 6PM.

I think this is the best coffee shop in San Jose. They have very delicious original Italian cappuccino in small porcelain cups not only paper cups. Yummy empanadas! Good Wi-Fi! The staff is very friendly and they speak English not only Spanish. It is very relaxing there.

Very nice, it's a small place, for rest your feet when your walking in San José, if you want a smootie with an "empanada" this is the right place 👌

A tiny cafe run by a cute team of sweet girls. The empanadas are delicious and the coffee is excellent. On a hot day one of the cold coffees will just hit the spot.

We had a delicious brownie, empanada and fruit smoothie. As an additional plus we enjoyed that they offer vegetarian empanadas. Staff was very friendly and heartfelt.
As some other reviews already gave away, the place can get a bit crowded due to its popularity, but the service is fast.

You have to come here for the Cafes Divertidos. They truly are fun! And it’s a nice atmosphere. Although if you sit in the window you might be asked for money by passing beggars.

Wonderful coffee and pastries, a little walk away from the busy streets of San José but worth it! We went at a not so busy time of day (11:00am) and it was perfect. I've heard from locals that this place typically has a line out to the sidewalk, so weekdays before the lunch rush is a perfect time to go and actually have space to enjoy.

My favorite cafe and latte I’ve ever been to and had!! Please do yourself a favor and order the caramel iced latte. Also tried both types of empanadas and both were equally delicious. Service was great and friendly also!

Easily my favorite bakery/coffee shop type of place in the world. Located in a very chill area. Great service and definitely great pastries. I thank the girls there for helping me with my Spanish too.
