Café de los Deseos

It opens on Sunday from 12:00. It is such a nice place. Ginger lemon grass tea is small but very nice. It serves hot. Food is delicious!

Sometimes we find a hidden gem and this is one of these. Great home cooked food, friendly and quick service with an eclectic mix of cool music playing. Don’t let the slightly off the beaten track next to the rail line fool you, this place is worth the visit and deserves to be recognised.

Depending on your hunger, a starter and main may be required and the drinks are great too.

Small place with a nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Small menu but a good selection and they have some vegetarian options available.

Delicious food here. I recommend the tacos. 2 for 1 sangria was really good but still expensive. The staff are lovely and the decor is nice. Good cozy spot for a meal with friends!

Food was excellent, very friendly microbrew beers had the fish tacos.

I just went there for a beer or two, it had "seasonal" beers and they serve them Mediterranean style (cañas). I simply loved the focaccia and the ambient was extraordinary.

I must say that when I went it wasn't packed, it was about halfway full so the noise level was very very controlled and the music could still be made out through the hub-bub. Will have to visit more often.

Is an excellent pub, great service from the staff, great menu (they offer vegetarian meals, such as falafel burrito) & drinks, this place is a must go for locals and tourists visiting San José.

My favorite place in San Jose. Funky, fun, hang out. Friendly staff, great food, good drinks. Good place to chat with friends, read a while, or just have lunch.

It was just delicious :) the food is so tasty you feel like you were in italy. The staff was very friendly. You have to try it if you like vegetarian, italien or just fresh food. If you take a fresh juice, I recomend you to take it with sugar. You will see why.
At all I liked it.

We just grabbed a few beers on the afternoon. The selection was well rounded and mostly local. The atmosphere was great. If we come back to San José we will definitely revisit later in the day.
