Gutierrez Family Pizzeria Express

Best pizza in the Lake Arenal area! Did a 50/50 Pizza topping, a hamburger, and Pina smoothie. All were first class! Everything is handmade to order and establishment is clean. Has lobby sink to wash hands and plenty of seating. Highly recommended - see my pictures. One suggestion - we need an English menu. We will definitely return!

I don’t write reviews often but this place absolutely deserves a great review. I’ve got a picky family from the states and everyone loved everything. I went back the following night to grab another pizza and garlic bread. If I am ever back in the area I will absolutely swing by - everything is as good as it looks.

As a native New Yorker, I can say this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, odd to write out but it is true! The crust has a nice crisp to it that supports all the ingredients but isn't burnt. Just visit the place!!
Food
Pizza Tico - Sweet Plantains, Pork and Chicken Chunks. A must try. I could eat this all day. Photo below.
Hawaiian - Pineapple was fresh but not overwhelming. Great balance
BBQ Chicken - Again nice balance of flavor. BBQ sauce wasn't overwhelming, the chicken tasted from a grill which was great, and the red onions topped it all off.
Strawberry milkshake was light and flavorful.
Atmosphere/Service
Cute homie spot. Owner was friendly and attentive.

Food was great ate the quesoburger and the BBQ chicken pizza. Great customer service very friendly family owned and operated restaurant.

If you’re staying on the opposite side of Lake Arenal, and you’re looking for a (mountain considered) late night dinner — I absolutely recommend this place. Great ambiance, great people, & great food!

We came as a family of 4, ordered 3 8 slice pizzas and a few sides, there was so much food! It was all so delicious, and a great price. We had a great time here. We got to take half the pizzas home for lunch the next day. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit juice! Would defiantly recommend this place to everyone.

We went to this place on 4th of July. This place does pizza and hamburgers better than most american restaurants. Also run by the nicest family ever! If you're in the area, this is the spot to come.
