The details that make a stay so great: good hot water, enough hooks for your things, enough power outlets and easily accessible, good WiFi, lighting that’s peaceful and not just a single bare bulb in the room, reading lights on the bed.

And the big things make it wonderful: a host that is communicative, breakfast delivered to your cabin, friendly dogs, a beautiful garden. The view from the property is stunning over the lake and hills.

They make a point of recycling aluminum and glass! So many places don’t do that.

The host went above and beyond and helped us store our bicycles and gave us a ride into town. I cannot rave enough about this place.

Location and views are espectacular! Great place for anyone looking for some Peace and Quiet! Hosts are amazing people and will make su feel very welcomed.

Picturesque mountaintop setting with the most gracious of hosts. Our cabin was clean and came with coffee, coffee maker and a fridge. Our stay came with an optional breakfast delivered right to your door at whatever time you please! Definitely get the pancakes!!

Amazing view, clean space, hot water, friendly owners, amazing pancakes, and our kids loved the trampoline! It was a great home base for a few days for traveling to the waterfalls and hot springs.

Great stay with an even better host! The rooms are spacious and comfy, but feel cozy and at-home. Definitely worth a visit!

Kees and Gricelda are such great hosts. Besides, Kees pancakes are awesome.... great view, affordable and comfy! will continue to stay here everytime we need to go...

Very friendly staff. We had the blue canniba, all very clean and great details. Lovely place and highly recommended. Oh and take pancakes for breakfast, super delicious!

The area is gorgeous, the vibe is great, the rooms are cozy, the beds are comfy and Kees' Dutch Pancakes are SUPER yummy (a must have if you stay here).

We stayed at Monte Terras two nights. Kees was a great host. I give Monte Terras a 10.

Hele fijne accommodatie! De kamers zijn goed verzorgd en schoon. Elke dag krijg je nieuwe handdoeken en worden de prullenbakjes verwisseld. De eigenaar Kees is erg gastvrij en behulpzaam. Hij komt elke ochtend een lekker ontbijt brengen en geeft tips over wat je kan doen in de omgeving. Ook is er een mooie tuin, waar er verschillende dieren zitten (luiaarden, toekans, egels, etc). Wij hadden een probleem bij de bank en Kees kwam mee naar de bank om ons daarbij te helpen. Super!

Las cabinas están abrigada del viento en el maravilloso jardín y la vista del lago y del volcán Arenal desde la piscina es fantástica !
Los anfitriones son super amables y conocen los mejores restaurantes de la zona <3

Merece de mi parte, según mi humilde opinión, las 5 estrellas en la categoría de lugares pequeños pero que su esmero y atension hace qué merezca la mejor calificación.
Desde que íbamos camino al hotel una amable señora llamada Griselda, estuvo atenta a nuestra hora de llegada, eso nos llamó la atension; pues nunca antes nos había sucedido.
Ya a nuestra llegada supimos que es la administradora y ella misma nos guió a las habitaciones, que son de lo mejor que hemos visitado para poder descansar, ya que están alejadas del parqueo y de la calle, el lugar es muy silencioso, el viento típico de la zona no afecta; pues una barrera natural de árboles lo bloquea.
El desayuno es tradicional, con el sabor típico de la bajura de Guanacaste, servido en la misma habitación por Kees, el dueño del hotel.
Los dos son muy simpáticos y no dejan escapar ni el mínimo detalle, todo está limpio y ordenado.
El agua de la piscina es agradable y con una vista espectacular al Lago Arenal.
Los precios son económicos.
Existe un lugar público cerca, (La Garrapata) con entra al lago, apto para pezcar o descargar lanchas, kayak, entre otras actividades.
Si gustas de observar aves, no olvides los binoculares, Kase dice que se pueden observar hasta 150 aves distintas.

Súper lindo todo! La habitación grande y cómoda, las instalaciones limpias y amplias, Kees super amable y servicial! Y una vista hermosa al lago !! :) 10/10

Bel emplacement... vue imprenable ! Un peu loin de tout, mais bon rapport qualité/prix vu que nous avons un excellent petit-déjeuner inclus au prix du loft qui est aussi équipé d'une cuisinette complète.

Ein wundervoller Ort, den ich zu 100 % weiterempfehle. Die Lage ist traumhaft, mit Ausblick auf den Arenal-See und die Bergkulisse. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Der Besitzer Kees ist sehr nett und total hilfsbereit. Sie werden sich wohlfühlen und die wunderbare Atmosphäre dieses schönen Platzes genießen.
