Hotel Villa Zurqui

The FRIENDLIEST staff ever! I was planning to stay here for two nights and stayed for a week! The rooms are nice. Cottages Chalet style. Some have fireplaces and they have wood for you to burn. Ask for a cottage further from the highway as the trucks are loud. The property is incredibly beautiful… so many gardens, really feels like a mini resort.
The food is simple and delicious. Grandma’s home cooking, which is a treat.
It’s a nature oasis that’s only 15 minutes from downtown San Jose. Right next to the National Park.
The price is actually why I chose to stay here. It’s SUCH A DEAL! Waaaaay more relaxed and chill than a hostel and almost the same price. Especially if you need to have your own private room for work or play. Blessings on your journey!

Stayed one night while passing through. The grounds are amazingingly beautiful and very well maintained. We had a fire place room and it was nice and clean. Most staff dont speak English so study up on your Spanish. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

I loved the natural setting of the place. Beautiful native trees (many marked along a trail), flowery bushes, and fruit trees (which you likely can eat at the restaurant). The rooms are plain but spacious with large bathrooms, flat screen TVs with cable, and small balcony. The accommodations are cottage like all around the main building which has real hi speed wi-fi. The staff is very friendly and ready to get you whatever you need or want. The location of the hotel is pretty close to an artisan chocolate factory (1.x miles, we walked there), and on the way to Braulio Carrillo National Park, a typical destination for nature lovers. If you come here, you are not coming for beach or high-end: you are coming because you love nature and you want to have an authentic experience!

It's a place to relax, quiet surrounding, fresh food and superior attention, got to go back again in the future.

Lugar bonito, cerca de San José y fácil de llegar (en vehículo).
Habitaciones sencillas y cómodas, algunas con chimenea y leña.
El lugar es tranquilo y fresco generalmente.
La reservación y llegada es sencilla, incluso nos han dado early check-in cuando la habitación ha estado lista antes, sin costo adicional.
Se puede comer en el restaurante de ellos o en El Paso que está a la par, hay unos cuantos restaurantes afuera pero luego de pasar el peaje de la ruta 32.
La comida es muy buena y las hamburguesas geniales y a muy buen precio!
Apenas para una escapada de fin de semana para despejarse un rato.

Bonito lugar para escapar de la ciudad con tu pareja. Mi esposa y yo recién celebramos nuestro aniversario de bodas ahí. Hay paquetes de luna de miel que incluye la cabaña con chimenea, tina y balcón, vino, cena, desayuno. El restaurante nos gustó mucho

Un lugar confortable, con un servicio al cliente muy bueno.La sonrisa de sus colaboradores hacen que uno se sienta bien recibido.las habitaciones limpias, cómodas, la cama muy comfortable y el desayuno típico muy rico y bien presentado. Definitivamente es un lugar que por el precio vs calidad lo recomendaría sin duda alguna.

Paisaje boscoso, aire fresco y cabañas equipadas, son los ingredientes perfectos para disfrutar de una velada romántica con la pareja. La comida buena. Amplio parqueo. Pese a ser un lugar solitario ,hay muy buena seguridad y te hace sentir tranquilo.

Este lugar es ideal para descansar alejado del bullicio de la ciudad. Habitaciones limpias y ordenadas y una fina atención de parte del personal.
