Everything you need in from a appartement, nice kitchen, good bed, quiet neighborhood but still close by for all the fun in the centre of San Jose. Very kind staff and felt very safe. Perfect for you first stay in Costa Rica!

Really nice apartment rentals at a fair price. Good location for some attractions and food downtown.

The good
The location is perfect. It is close to everything . Within 5 minutes walk there are 3 museums. 30 minutes walk to the zoo. 20 minutes walk to the Tuasa Bus station that take you to and from the airport.
The staff was helpful.
The apartment has everything. I reheated my meals twice.
Inside the hotel is a true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the street .
There was two water dispensers .

The bad

I don’t like to pay using a link in advance even though it is refundable up to a point. None of my other 4 hotels that I stayed in in Costa Rics required advance payment. They always pay later. Don’t worry about it.

San José is noisy with trains using their very horns starting at 4:30 am until 9:30 pm.

The WiFi is so so

No daily empty of garbage.

If I return to San José I would definitely stay there again.

Was originally booked at Spain Park, but due to remodeling, they moved my reservation over to Candó Living. Like most places in CR, there’s no address and in this case, not even a sign on the outside. Don’t be fooled by the street - once you’re inside the gates of Candó, the place really opens up and is clean and green. My room was larger than expected (and than what I needed as a solo traveler for one night), but was comfortable. The front desk was nice, helpful and accommodating. (I’m bilingual, so not sure how good they’re English is here though.) The only thing I’d say is because it’s centrally located and in an area that seems to have lots of construction, expect some noise. Other than that, I slept well and enjoyed my stay.

For the price this was a great location and comfortable apartment for a week in San Jose.
The courtyard is very nice, staff is good and apartment was big and clean. Good internet, not perfect for videoconferencing so if you are working here maybe have a backup mobile (I was able to call on mobile and video on WiFi here). Small kitchen sufficient for simple meals.

Only location complaint is the bus stop is out front so there are some beggars who were quite persistent once they noticed me. But you are within good walking distance of the sites and of Barrio Escalante if you want to go to some nice restaurants.

We had an amazing stay here. Room were clean and spacious, staff were friendly, the courtyard is beautiful and the location is perfect.

The staff was so friendly. All areas were clean. This is a quiet location in the middle of San José, plenty of safe places to go on foot. Loved my stay 🥰

Overall good experience. They are in the process of remodeling the apartments even though they are fairly new. Nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

An oasis in the middle of pure chaos !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet établissement et en avons été satisfaits entre un accueil souriant, aux informations précises personnel sympa et agréable. Les chambres très propres et assez bien équipées. Un très beau jardin au coeur de la capitale, juste excentré du centre ville. Le musée du Jade en face, un très beau jardin en face de l'hôtel et quelques commerces proches pour quelques courses et se dépanner. Je le recommande vraiment.

Une très belle expérience pour nous, un personnel très sympathique et disponible, notre arrivée s'est faite en douceur. La propreté de cet hôtel est au quotidien. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le jardin est un enchaînement dès le réveil, et la proximité du centre et activités est très appréciable. Nous y reviendrons lors de notre futur séjour et avec grand plaisir
