Sportsmens Lodge

I have never stayed here but have walked by many times. Seems like there are always working girls coming and going. Notice it is only guys giving reviews. Mostly old buzzards looking for "love" that is not available in their home country. I have decided to change my review to 5 stars because nothing illegal is going on and it just might have good food, good people, and nice rooms.

Friendly. Great service. Nice place to hangout and get a bite to eat.

Stayed here for 6 days, enjoyed my stay, the service staff and receptionist were all very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Imperial Beer is now my favorite drink, every night there are taxi drivers right outside if you need a ride anywhere. Came here for a solo vacation and loved it. Awesome cafe right around the corner, and bank is like 5 minutes away. Thank you for an awesome vacation SL staff. Adventure tours are a must.

Just outstanding. Everything is fun about this rather unusual hotel but what makes it truly wonderful is the staff. From the maids who always have a smile for you to the helpful front desk staff. Then of course there are the bartenders. The most friendly, warm and attractive group of ladies you could hope to find anywhere.

Wonderful place with wonderful service. The entire staff makes me feel like family. I stay here each time I fly into San Jose.

The staff at the lodge are amazing. They really make you feel at home. It's a great place to party friendly. Not a family hotel. If you have any issues they address them promptly. My favorite place to stay in Costa Rica.

I have been here many times and it is always a great time. The bartenders day and night are very nice and friendly and the food is very good. It is the best around I promise you! And an added bonus is the prices are great. Very comfortable rooms, I highly recommend this hotel.

An outstanding business establishment. The employees are the nicest and coolest people you will ever meet. The food is outstanding. I love their breakfast. It is the only place, in the world, that I have seen with a special Fireball dispenser at the bar. Anyone who knows me know that Fireball is my favorite hard liquor drink.

My sixth stay here since 2009..Great food, staff and the girls always give you the GE..Secure and safety is always a priority!! Bill the owner is a good guy!! Rooms could use a little updating.. Another one for the books..

Cool owner , Staff es excellente , la damas aqui es bonitas ( many beauties here ) , good rates and beautiful chicas front desk too and I stayed in several rooms from 65 dolares amon to 115 dolares presidential suite habitaciones .

It is reasonable price food is solid , waitresses ( camereras ) is beautiful and hard working and the weather in costa rica is mostly decently warm so read and enjoy .

This is the Perfect place for any American man with a very little disposable income to have the time of your life. Go alone or with a buddy. Costa Rica and the Sportsmans will change your entire view of enjoyment if you have only partied in the US. Great food too.

Basic hotel room. The staff is great and always fun. Complete place to stay with a good bar and restaurant. Location is a little out of the way but you can always get a taxi easy.

The room I had was basic but had great air conditioning and a mini-frdge which is very convenient.
I usually stay there to watch sports, this time NCAA basketball. They will accommodate you with whatever game you would like to watch.

This place was amazing I had the best experience of my whole life here the food is also superb cooked to perfection every time hotel staff was like family to me but beware you will fall in love with the ticas ❤💋🌹💯👌

Usually a very good place to meet other foreigner and have a little fun with good food and drinks and several sport TV,s. Unfortunately not really recommended during Covid regulation, which is strictly enforced, so when alone sitting somewhere alone on a table with nearly no chance to hey any contact. Also not a lot of female there due to this reason. It is a restaurant feeling and no bar feeling. But again nothing to do with the bar and solely the Covid regulation.

Sportsmens Lodge is a great hotel for the single adult traveler. The staff are attentive and friendly. I stayed in the Oso Grande room. The room has a king size bed and a second bedroom with a queen size bed. There is plenty of space in the room. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a fantastic rain head walk in shower. There isn't a view from the room but your gonna see anything more beautiful than the ladies inside the hotel.

You will encounter beautiful women from many countries. Most speak English and aren't pushy. They are screened and don't require additional check in unless you invite them from other locations. They are very talented.

The bar has all the sports you would want to watch or you can watch and is staffed most of the day. The minibar is expensive relocate the items you don't want to pay for so they don't disappear if you have guests.

Breakfast was included and available around 5:30am. The door guys are present 24hrs so you have safety. The room has a safe for your valuables and I recommend using it.

The hotel is a safe outside and does not have the dangerous elements lurking around like the other popular pink hotel.

This hotel was a great stay for the price and I would stay there in my future stays in Costa Rica.
