Juan Valdez Café

Before coming to Cartagena for the first time (first time in Colombia) I vetted with a few locals on the best coffee to get in Colombia and hands down they all told me to come to Juan Valdez. I ordered a Vanilla Latte and it was amazing, I met a local in the store and brought her coffee too.

The coffee is nothing compared to anything else, nothing close to Starbucks. I’d definitely come back here again on my next Colombia trip.

As always true to brand.

Sharp, dark and oily with a full bodied aftertaste was their americano. Moist and light was their chocolate cake. This location boasts a large seating area plus outside seating. A special tanks to the whole crew for as we say in America "keeping it tight".
