This place has little reviews and even those might not be the best. But I am telling you that is probably the best option in Cartagena. Why? Prices are way more decent than everywhere and food does not disappoint! I had here the best food in Cartagena and the cheapest. The only thing I regret is that I did not discover this place earlier. This place is the best!

It is my second time here and I am totally satisfied with the food and service of Matiz restaurant. Delicious fried fish "Mojarra Frita" and other dishes. Best cold lemonade I have drunk.

Definetely I recommend this restaurant. I am happy the guy found us on the street and brought us here. Great job.

Went there for a dinner the food took more then usual time to get to us BUT when we got it. we were impressed with the freshness, taste and quality. The service was initially slow but improved over time. Would go back to eat here since the food was delicious!

Honestly a great place to eat!! I have no idea what that one star review is talking about. The place had a good atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service. It was quiet but probably due to the untrue review in my opinion. Food was amazing and came hot and delicious. Their menu is full of delicious sounding options that I will definitely come back to try.

The food is excellent, we had to come back twice. We got the local dish bandeja paisa. It was almost as good as my Colombian girlfriends mothers. Some of the best chicharrón Ive had. It was a lot of food for a great price. The service was excellent. Very attentive. The atmosphere is open concept with modern accents. Live wood tables, plants and some TV’s spaced around the area. I was able to watch NFL football and enjoy my meal.

I was convinced by a guy in the street to come to this restaurant and I am so glad I did !
The staff was friendly and amazing , they accommodated us and made us feel so welcomed.

We ordered the mandarin lemonade and this is a must try !! It was by far one of the best in the city.
We ordered bandeja paisa ( culturally it is a dish served in Medellin ) and it was amazing good plátano!!
I will be back to eat here again.

Excelente relación de precio - calidad, nosotros regresamos ya que hay otros restaurantes más costosos y la comida no es tan buena. Lo recomiendo mucho, no se arrepentirán!

buena relación precio calidad. comida exquisita, atención excelente y lugar cómodo para comer. hemos venido 2 veces y en ambas ocasiones un increíble servicio. obviamente es conveniente llegar un poco antes de la hora punta (antes de 13.00 hrs aprox)

Entre los restaurantes del sector este tiene comida deliciosa y a buen precio, la comida fue exquisita y contundente. El personal amigable y dispuesto a resolver nuestras preguntas. Buena música y ambiente. Sin duda volvería otra vez.

Restaurante muito legal, bons preços, baixo até por estar dentro da cidade murada. Atendimento de qualidade.

Excelente atención y comida! Ayer fui y ha sido el mejor que he comido hasta ahorita, lomo de cerdo excelente, hoy regresaré porque quiero seguir comiendo rico!! Buenos precios y ambiente. Recomendado por un Hondureño, Saludos.

Fui apenas tomar uma cerveja e comer petiscos, gostei bastante. Ambiente com ar condicionado, cerveja com preço melhor que dos ambulantes na rua. Porções gostosas com preço justo. Atendimento também foi cordial e atencioso. Recomendo.
