We stumbled upon this jewel while searching for a food court. The grand entrance offered a glimpse at a beautiful courtyard with mature trees. Upon entering the peace and serenity of the courtyard along with the sound of trickling water from the fountain invited us to explore.
I stumbled upon Oscar who is the barista at the café and he explained that the art gallery, courtyard and café was open to public and invited us to view the art.
Once finished we went to the café which is located at a corner of the building and found Oscar tending to his cold drip coffee. He kindly explained the process and provided further information on what the café offers. We signed up for a coffee tasting the next day.
The experience was great! Oscar is a super knowledgeable barista and left us with a lot of information on brewing techniques, roasting qualities, and how to really get the most out of a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend dropping by to experience a great atmosphere and learn about coffee. Lastly, the café has two amazing REFRESHING drinks which are patented and unique to this place. Limonada de café and café soda. Both great options to get your caffeine kick!

I went there just because I saw a charming garden surrounded by small rooms with exhibitions of Colombian contemporary art and I love it!

Really enjoyed the coffee here. The coffee was good quality, but the barista was amazing with his presentation of our Chemex. He brought out the entire setup and prepared it in front of us in absolutely perfect form. They truly care about coffee and the brewing process here. Unfortunately the facility it is in was switching their exhibition at the time we were there, but even without art up the building and courtyard garden is beautiful and peaceful.

I'm a digital nomad and rank this in my top 3 places to work remotely in Cartagena. You enter into a classical old art university with a lush garden courtyard and small galleries surrounding it. Then to your right is a cute cafe with great coffee and a very relaxed and professional atmosphere. Being open air and very natural, it offers a wonderful escape from the classic working cafe.

Chemex coffee with light roast. I was walking around the historic district with some friends from the hostel. Great spot to regroup after walking in the heat. Wonderful interior courtyard. Great coffee for espresso or pour over.

Gotta love free art on display! Lovely exhibit of tiny boxes to create portraits was very amazing!

Es parte de la universidad, tiene un café y muestras de arte. Generalmente se puede ver un recital de piano o un ensayo del coro. Es un lugar hermoso, pacífico y tiene café y postres exquisitos.
Un lugar espléndido para disfrutar de la verdadera Cartagena.

En mi opinión es un lugar excelente dónde ir conocer de arte, cultura, ir a tomar un café, compartir con los amigos en un espacio rodeado de naturaleza en medio de la ciudad. Existen presentaciones en vivo y rotación de las exposiciones de arte. Súper recomendado este sitio. Además es un sitio poco concurrido, lo que lo hace ideal para todas aquellas personas que les gusta los sitios con pocas personas.

Es un lugar perfecto para tomar café, hablar. Es una universidad de acceso al público. Un monumento perfectamente conservado. Con muy buena atención en su café. Wiffi.
