The staff are friendly and helpful. Well stocked, good prices and they usually have flyer items in store when advertised. Great online shopping and delivery options as well. There's a reason, people come from all over Greater Sudbury, to shop at Chris's Independent!

My local grocery store I enjoy it. We also sell local products here available throughout the region big plus.

Great place. A little bit of everything. Serves the downtown area very well and parking is more then big enough. They don't have self check out but also the don't have self checkout. It has everything, it's a smaller version of are Superstore

Fantastic selection for stocking up for a weekend getaway. Really impressed with the customer service when we made a mistake at the self checkout like a couple of CLOWNS.

Gino went above and beyond to grab some frozen soil, tucked away and out of reach, for my craft project.

Clean and always staff available when I require assistance. I have a disability and they make it a pleasure for me to shop there. They assist me with a smile.

I love this store and shop there every week. Their pc express pick up is great and their delivery is great. But if anybody from Chris independent is watching I have a favourite Chapmans frozen yogurt flavour you do not carry. The peach frozen yogurt is excellent and I hope you will consider stocking it. It’s the only product I have to go to another store to find..

Winter is near, harvests are done, and the produce section looks bleaker than ever. Our local stores are part of a chain, and chained to prices and supplies controlled down south, where we look like a runt in the litter, and must subsist on what the bigger markets leave behind. Our local people do the best they can, but when the dealer is feeding us cards from the bottom of the deck, we'll certainly never have 4 aces.
Will we get our pumpernickel bagels back? We'll soon be losing Golden Grain, and unless one can rely on Weston Bakeries replacement bus service to deliver product that requires teeth, well, never mind.
Happy to see Chris back from his holiday, and following what we get to see on the Facebook, will continue to spoil ourselves with the best of what we can get.
Maybe I should offer sacrifices to the gods to have a Nations arrive in town, but Genesis 4 warns me to use lamb rather than produce to have my prayers answered.

Put it this way...I live in New Sudbury but drive across town to Chris' Independent as its my fav! I like to bring my puppy with me as well, so curbside is my way to go! Their staff are excellent with picking, packing and offer great old-fashioned customer service! 😍 Thank you!

Absolutely amazing customer service here. Kevin, the manager I usually deal with, has accommodated my bulk pre-orders, as I shop for others and buying in bulk makes it so much easier. What ever I need, I let him know the commodity and he does his best to accommodate me without taking it off the shelf from other customers. I have been a repeat customer here because of this excellent service. 👌 Thank you Kevin and all the staff that hunts him down when I come in. The Northern family loves how I can help them from down here👍... highly recommend shopping here.

This place is very clean and organized. They're stock buys and girls, are doing an awesome job facing everything, and having enough cashiers to service everyone at a fast and reasonable pace. Also, I have noticed my produce last longer when I purchase them here than any other Market in town. Definitely would recommend this store above all other stores. It is a little more pricey, but the extra Buck is worth the atmosphere you shop in.
