This is a great place if you are looking for organic and natural foods. They have a lot of unique and standard items. There are always a lot of staff to answer questions. They also have a member card.

My long-standing favorite natural foods store! Community Natural Foods has been a fixture in our community since I was a boy in Calgary in high school in the very early 2000's, and it has always had the freshest, tastiest produce, treats, as well as been my go-to place for decades for herbs.

They have a huge section of bulk herbs where you can, for very affordable prices grab teas and healing herbs in bulk, and make infusions instead of buying the same herbs in bottled tinctures or pills in their natural supplements isle. Check it out!

They also have some of the best meat and fish I have found yet, much of it at a very reasonable price. It's also where I go for my soaps, and where I've bought my salt rock lamps!

An excellent store! If you've never been you have to go just for the experience!

I always come here or the downtown location for my health food store needs, but I had a fantastic experience today. I’m starting a new AIP diet for a while which is very daunting and I went in feeling overwhelmed and sad. I spoke to Nance and she helped me with advice on substitutes and on the diet itself. She made me feel so comfortable and heard, which is something you don’t get a lot with IBD! I left the store feeling confident and almost excited about my new health venture. Many thanks to Nance for making my day and being such a helpful and thoughtful staff member!

Wonderful assortment of bulk foods, teas, spices. Deli grab & go items included Chicken fresh rolls and a turmeric spice sauce - yummy. Plenty of produce, quick checkout.

As soon as I walked in I was in love with this store. Every person in there was happy and friendly. The food is amazing and the products are amazing. I will undoubtedly be coming back again. I love this store. Thank you!

This location gets 5 stars, but only because of Rebecca. Otherwise I'd give it maybe 2-2.5 stars. Most items sold at community, can be purchased at other outlets for almost half the price. I truly don't know where the surcharge comes from. I still love coming here for the vast variety in natural health products/supplements that you can't find elsewhere. But Rebecca is what brings me to this location everytime! Top shelf human being!

They carry natural and organic products you can't get everywhere. Kind and courteous staff always ask if you are a member.

Always my go to for bulk organic food. Getting help with products is truly hit or miss. When you get the right help, it's over the moon helpful and chock full of knowledge you didn't even expect and when it's a miss it makes you wish you had chosen to find your bulk food selection elsewhere. So if you get unknowledgeable staff, don't hestitate to move right on to the next staff - the next one is likely one of those that you'll learn an encyclopedia of food knowledge from. It would be great if it was consistently AMAZING, but the random gems of staff are what keep me coming back.

This place is amazing,. The freshest Organic produce with exceptional flavors and variety. The staff are the nicest I've ever come across in my life. These people are well educated on everything in store and can help with any queries you may have. They stock fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, great hot food to eat in or take away which also caters for vegans and vegetarians. They have fresh deserts and a full array of supplements, herbs and essential oils. This place is gold. Seriously try it out... You won't be disappointed. I'd give it 20 stars if they would let me. Best health food store in the Western world. Go up to the touch screen and order a custom made juice and healthy sandwich or burrito, then do your shopping while they make your fresh order from scratch! Amazing selection and lots of knowledgable staff to answer questions. Here's a tip: put the chocolate by the checkout area so I can grab some high-cocoa snack cravings on my way out.

Huge bags of organic carrots for juicing, wonderful selection of natural soaps and cleaners, frozen foods. Slightly high prices but good quality food! Online shopping with expert delivery. Excellent customer service skills, fast checkout and perfect accuracy with grocery order.

My wife and I have been visiting Community Foods for a number of years now. We always go to the 61st Ave SW location due to their fine service! A big shout out to Nance, she's always a pleasure to talk to, highly intelligent and recommends all the best supplements my wife needs to maintain her health and wellbeing. I just moved to Calgary from BC and was trying to find somewhere that has similar products to where I used to shop. Not only was I very impressed with the selection of healthy products that has less packing and negative impacts on our planet, both Anne and Moira were so helpful and friendly.
