She’s always handing out nice compliments to people. It doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated, thank yu!

It's Christmas around the corner. As I went through their decorations, I could say... they improved a lot. Pretty decorations went up a bit the prices that's understandable everything went up hight costs. But their prices still decent affordable. Good stuff for arts and all.

Had fun buying Halloween decorations with my granddaughters and they had a blast. They were picking things off the shelf and I was worried about the price but forgot I was at Dollarama. The prices are low and the selection is high. Great shopping experience.

Was a very clean and well stocked store. We have a store closer to home but sometimes they are short things. This store is larger, clean and nicely stocked up. I especially noticed the food stuff, greeting cards, etc. There are my favorite food items that have a great price point on them and was good to see the isle stocked up.

This is a good store. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is tidy more often than not. I can't imagine what it's like keeping up with all of their products.
I really like the garden section in spring.

Great place for reasonable priced groceries

Shop recently renovated. Staff also new. Self service counters installed for speedy checkout. Very reasonably priced items. Any small items you need most probably you will find here. Don't visit with your lady. I did .. to buy a comb which came for 1.25$ but the things we never thought we needed were bought for 135$. So be careful.

Each time I go into this store and when I reach the checkout, the smiling face of a young man always cheerful, always helpful. He wears a bandanna-like mask covering and is a perfect example of customer service. With the install of the self checkouts, he always on the ready to help people out and without being asked.
I cannot imagine how challenging it has been working retail these past 18 months. No matter the challenge, this guy takes it on, all with a smile. Both customers and employer are lucky to have you on board. Keep up the great work!

Love this location. It's very neat and clean. Selection is limited due to size of store but I don't usually have a problem finding items here. They now have self check out at this location. Going to miss the friends staff. 😢

Nice house holds and quality toys for reasonable rates.

Standard Dollarama offerings: kitchen, food, household, office, crafts, toys. I like this chain of dollar stores because of the variety of products they offer. No staff on the floor to help find products. There are 5 self checkout machines, so it's really fast to pay and leave.

This location is almost always busy to be prepared for spending some time here waiting in line. Since they've expanded they do get a lot of inventory that they used to not get.

Lots of selection smells clean and looks clean compaired to other dollar store. There is lots of stuff but its still generally organised which is nice. Very cheap. You can get lots of basic cleaning supplies and even school and craft supplies for way less.

Country Hills Location-
Great service and friendly manager! She went out of her way to go to the back and find exactly what I was looking for since it wasn't out on the shelves. Then she jumped on the cash register because it was a bit busy. Amazing to see someone take initiative and help out!

Great product selection, phenomenal prices and amazing service (specifically the lad named Tarun who was very helpful and courteous). Wish I could really to know the people working there as they generally seem hardworking and immaculate

My favorite Dollarama. Clean and tidy. Always got new stuff. Love the self checkouts and the staff are nice.

Dollarama Country Hills

I would like to share the story behind these Christmas earrings.

I was at the Dollarama in Country Hills today and was third in line at the checkout counter. The store owner asked the lady who was first in line, how she was doing and what her plans were for Christmas. I assumed they knew each other. Anyhow, the lady said she was going to spend her Christmas with her children outside of Calgary, although she said she felt terrible as her 88-yr old mother was in Coventry Senior Citizens Centre suffering from dementia and was recently diagnosed with cancer. After paying for her purchases I tapped her shoulder lightly and told her how sorry I am to hear about her mother and I wished her and her family a Merry Christmas and blessings from God. She held my hand and thanked me. As she was walking away she stopped and looked at the Christmas earrings and said her mother would love to have a pair of those. I told her to pick three sets of earrings for her mother and that I would pay for them, as my Christmas present. She looked at the price and said she couldn’t accept the gifts from me because they were too expensive in her opinion... I told her not to worry about it and then another customer in front of me said she would pay for one set of earrings. When it was my turn to pay, the store owner grabbed another set of earrings and and told me they were a gift from him to me, compliments of the store. I thanked him and his wife and he thanked me and the other customer for paying for the Christmas earrings for the lady’s mother. The lady gave me a hug and as we were walking out the door together I saw that she had tears running down her face.

It turned out to be a domino effect of love and kindness and it felt so good.... A small $5 pair of Christmas earrings that were given to me by the store owner are now taped to my fridge as a reminder to myself to make it a point in my life to continue to show love to strangers and those in need.

All it takes is a little love, a little vulnerability, and little kindness to go a very long way for a complete stranger.

I dealt with the nicest young man at the check-out! Amazing people skills. I told him that if everyone were like him, the world would be a much better place.😊

Ofcourse inflation price increase is visible here too but still lot of options available at cheaper price

Very organized and clean. Staffs are friendly and always helpful. Prices are always good. One of the best store.
