Hunter's General Store

I've been going to this store since I was a young child. I love the welcome back feeling I get from just being there. The owners through the years have always been part of this amazing town and that's true today. The owner now is as friendly and caring as the ones when I was a little girl. Their pizza is talked about by everyone as it's incredible. The store has a bit of everything you'd need. The owner has been a life saver to the community since the grocery store fire by bring in things that are needed. I hope things stay the same for themwhenthenew grocery store opens.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I live 45 minutes away but stop for their pizza every time I am passing by. It is far better than any of the chains!

Friendly owners and staff ... best price in Canada for a coffee and pecan tart 2.99 ... ! Freshly made breakfast sandwiches as well as great pizza .. its 1 minute off highway 28 .

We are really lucky to have Hunter’s as the busy hub of our town. Great hours, wonderful family run business. Subs are amazing, great coffee and pizza too! They stock all the essentials and more. I think I’m here at least once a day!

Their subs are really good! We've been there 3 times, and the staff have always been super friendly.

The staff was really friendly and helped with a few things they didn't have. We were vacationing nearby and stopped here about 5 times during our visit! The prices are reasonable and they don't just price things to take advantage of cottage goers. They even have a pizza and sub shop inside. They don't have everything but they do have the essentials, drugs, lotto, milk, ice, water. Would recommend to others! Thanks for the friendly service.

Great pizza and subs...along with great service and great selection of "general store" goods! Bob, staff, and his son Anthony always greet customers with a smile and kind words.

Such a pleasant quaint lil establishment. Good selection. Staff were helpful and friendly. The pizzeria located inside was awesome. Literally found their pizza better than most establishments here in Niagara Falls. Definitely will be back when we in that area again.

Hunter's has everything! The pizza is always made to perfection and the customer service is amazing. Anthony is especially my favourite because he always makes customers smile and feel welcome! :)

We were referred over to this store from the Silent Lake Park folks to buy some campfire wood since the wood at the park was damp. The owners were very friendly and the prices were good. It looked like were selling pizza as well and the locals seemed to be taking advantage of it. Neat place, highly recommended!

This is our local general store, so we’ve gotten to know Bob and Anthony and the whole team quite well. We enjoy their pizza, and are grateful for the supply of staples and goodies they stock.

Friendly corner store. Excellent pizza, subs, and breakfast sandwiches. The prices are SOMETIMES a tad high although I understand as much is made in store, and stuff that is not does have to ship all the way to Apsley.

I'm a local. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. It's your typical small town store and it's great. Good prices on milk, butter and eggs, since the local grocery store is a dump. Delicious pizza and subs, really friendly. For those complaining about the bathrooms, the majority of buisinesses in this town do not have a public bathroom. Just go right next store, there's public bathrooms behind the bank.

Great place to pick up snacks and Lotto tickets. Full convenience store.Also has a take out place in back where you can get fresh hot pizzas and other hot foods and drinks

Friendly service ... will go back to there again for sure.. fresh made pizza... an sandwiches... great little place. Even thou the pack of backwoods are abit expensive

Great little store that has everything!! Grabbed a sub sandwich in the back for $7.50 and it was awesome. Customer service at the counter and checkout we're great.

Such a fun place to go. Truly a "General Store" old school. They have everything you might want and then some. Each time I go in that direction I always pop in. They owner is wonderful, great sense of humour

Very friendly and funny staff. We are out of towners, camping in the region and they were both very nice and accommodating. We will be camping here again and will hit this store as well. Hands down 5 stars.
